We’re looking for a video editor to help us create Instagram reels for an online competition built for Indian college students.

The idea is simple:
Students put up an Instagram Story with a link asking their friends to expose/judge them on a topic they choose (all fun, nothing serious 😄). People vote, they get results, and share them further.

The kind of raw content we have is usually:

• Students talking to the camera (talking head videos)
• A selfie or random image with a voiceover
• Screen recordings
• Sometimes literally just an image or even no real footage at all

We’re not looking for someone who just applies the same editing style to every reel.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to experiment with the content itself. Different hooks, storytelling, pacing, memes, captions, formats, trends, whatever helps us figure out what actually gets shared across college audiences. The goal is to test fast, learn what works, and keep improving.

Payment can be decided per reel or on a monthly basis, whichever makes more sense.

mujhe abhi recently seawoods mein helmet ka challan aa gaya. and honestly, jis spot pe hua, waha almost sab log pichle 10 saal se wahi kar rahe hain. not saying it’s right, bas reality hai.

sabse funny part? bas photo click kiya, aur kuch time baad sms...boom... challan. aur lag nahi raha ki ye ek-do din ka scene hai. Main waha khada tha aur mere saamne 10 minute mein 5 log pakde gaye. proper challan harvesting chal rahi thi.
