What is your weird keybind? And why is it keybinding grenade to middle mouse button instead of G?

I use all default keybinds for literally everything except this lol. I swear to god G feels so far away and even worse I can’t even move with WASD comfortably to aim it properly, I find the middle mouse button for it pretty perfect.

What about you guys? Any weird keybinds or keys you can’t for the life of you get used to?

I also used to bind equipment 1 and 2 to mouse side buttons in past games and always switched weapons with the mouse wheel, after several games in the franchise I’m finally comfortable with using 1, 2, 3, 4 numbers row lol.

Your favorite Assault Rifle, SMG, and Carbine, and why? (Returning player)

Just got back to the game these past few weeks after dropping out of season 1 due to being busy.

For assault rifles, I used to main the M433 at launch and at the SOR-556 (SCAR-L), but good god is the SCAR-L a peashooter now or what?

And I’ve been using the M16A4 and I’m absolutely loving it! Using it as a semi auto and it shreds, anyone recommends going full auto?

I’ve heard some good stuff about KORD (AEK), but what about TR-7 (TAR), L85A3, VCR-2, B36A4, AK4D?

As for carbines, I swear the M4A1 used to be godly in the beta.. but now it’s just.. ungainly I guess.. what carbine is best to use out of them all? AK-205 feels excellent but I’m not sure if I’m screwing myself over with its low ttk.

And for the SMGs, I looove the MP5 (PW5A3) and I’ve only ever been using that since launch until today, but I’ve heard some good stuff about the USG-90 (P-90), anything worth checking out here in the SMG category?

And any tips about handling, attachments, ammo types, moving and shooting penalties, etc. is appreciated.

Best loadouts for the tank, IFV, and AA vehicles?

What are all the must-uses?

I use the Heavy Rotary MG and the Light Rockets for the scout heli which seem to be the standard of what to go with for the little bird I guess.

But what about the attack heli? Light Rockets for the main gun and the Aim-Guided tow for the secondary weapon, with Emergency Repairs as equipment, but what about upgrades? Heavy Warheads? Interference? Improved Armor?

With the stealth jet it looks pretty easily, but with the attack jet’s whether I’m in third person or I’m in infrared thermal view in first person (how do I even aim there in FP? Seems almost impossible), I’m not locking on to anything?… newbi here and not sure if I’m missing anything. Still training in portal jet servers.

What is the best LMG and DMR in the game?

And in the case of LMGs, which ones are the best against infantry and which ones are best against vehicles and aircraft? Any specific ammo for these usages?

Also, a question about battle pass leveling, if I do all weekly missions, then what other ways do I have to get more tokens? I noticed that I always get 3 tokens whenever I finish a game in any game mode whether I lose or win, is that it? And also, does the Battle Pass XP booster just double the reward from 3 tokens 6 tokens in a match or does it double the weekly challenges rewards as well? And if I do activate it what game mode is best to go with it? Fast and quick finishing game modes or it doesn’t matter? If so what game mode is best to make the most out of the booster?

Aircraft Control Sensitivity: 80

Helicopter Control Sensitivity: 80

Vehicle Mouse Aim Ratio: 100

Zoom Sensitivity Coefficient: 0

I have no idea what Zoom Sensitivity Coefficient does but I saw a lot of people on youtube recommend setting it to 0 lol. What do you guys think about it? What should it be set at? And what do you think about my overall sensitivity settings? I know it’s all subjective but I worry if I’m doing something wrong or too off.

Do mines and claymores reset upon death or not? And do they reset upon changing classes or not?

And the class training path levels, do they reset when changing a specific class or changing a specific a training path within a class or are their levels kept as is?

Do I just slam the brakes immediately as I start the turn and then halfway through it I slam acceleration + afterburners? Or is there more to it?

Infantry Mouse Aim Sensitivity: 10

I found 10 to be too low for my mouse so I pushed it to 15, even though I’ve seen so many people on people glaze 10.

Uniform Soldier Aiming ON⁠

Zoom Sensitivity Coefficient: ⁠0%⁠

I’ma be honest I have no idea what this does but so many people put it at 0% so I just did that. Any ideas?

Infantry Zoom Aim Sensitivity: ⁠100%⁠

Feels snappy enough at 100% tried lowering it but switching targets and fine tuning aim while aiming felt so slow.

Vertical Mouse Aim Ratio: ⁠100%⁠

I have no idea why would anyone lower this, any ideas? I understand for jets and helis but for infantry it seems like my vertical and horizontal speed should be equal. Anyone has other thoughts on this?

1. The rocket weapons on the scout/attack with the vertical line reticles, the rockets land at the middle of this vertical line, right? That should be where I aim it at right?

2 The scout’s mini gun and the heavy gun are always guaranteed to hit at the crosshair right? I’ve seen a youtuber claim that heavy gun’s shots go left/right to the edge of crosshairs or something, is this true?

3. Dumb question.. but what’s the point of rolling? With jets I get the point of rolling to get tighter turns fast as yawing doesn’t cut it, but with the scout/attack helicopter yawing is fine for turning, so what does rolling primarily exist for? Does it help gain you momentum or something? I see people on clips constantly briefly rolling right and left and idk if it’s to dodge players or what lol.

4. Just so I’m getting this straight (I know this is a dumb question) in little birds and attack helicopters, we gain momentum and move forward via pitching DOWN, there is no accelerating key or anything right? And as ad move forward and gain momentum with pitching down we’re also inadvertently going low and down? So we have to also throttle up while pitching down right?

5. Any benefits to pitching up other than for aiming at infantry at rooftops or other aircraft? Like is there any momentum or movement stuff going on here like with having to pitch down to move forward?

6. Any hidden techs that scout/transport/attack helis have like the stealth jet’s thrust vectoring, v-tapping, etc? Or is it just plain as day like attack jets are? lol.

7. Control scheme, I have helicopter flying assist turned off, and I have set left/right mouse to left/right yaw, and A/D to left/right rolling, with W/S to throttle up/down, and up/down mouse for pitch up/down respectively, I’ve also extra set left ctrl to left yawn and space to right yawn just in case my mouse pad doesn’t cut it and I need a 360 yawn or if I needed any further aiming fine tuning, what do you guys think of these controls?

How to finish the Combat Engineer 2000 dmg Anti-Vehicle Mines challenge? Is there any way to cheese it?

I have JUST decided to unlock this today 8 months after launch and my god it seems like every damn player shoots them now lol.

My mind is blown lmao. I’m a noob but I always got into them with a support solely because in infantry that’s the only class I use. I just read that the Combat Engineer’s first level also delays the jet’s cannon overheating (thought it was just for the repair tool tbh) and also the vehicle faster regen?

And the Recon’s Sniper path level 0 and 1 for better spotting in dogfights and air-to-ground attacks? Can the level 3 overwatch UAV be called too?
