TC Max RPM/Speed
Has anyone come across a helpful graph that shows Motor RPM and how it translates to road-speed? Could work it out, but would be far nicer if someone's already done it.
Thanks!

Does anyone else use BottlecapDave’s Target Timeframe integration in conjunction with Octopus Agile prices? I cannot get it to work at all, even though no errors or problems are showing anywhere.
I just want it to switch the sensor on during the lowest 16 time periods (lowest priced 8 hours, doesn’t need to be grouped).. but it just sits there in the off-state. Never changing.
Seemed to connect to ***next_day_prices alright. Setup up a rolling timeframe and a normal one, but neither appear to function.
Anyone use it and had it working okay? I’m sure it’s some silly little user error of mine, and would love to have it working to charge my EV.
TIA
Has anyone ever received a reply through the website contact form? I’ve tried asking a technical question multiple times on both websites and have no responses at all.
The worst thing about the design of this bike is the stupid looking number plate position.
Threw this proof-of-concept bracket together today out of bits I had laying around. Not convinced yet. Maybe it’ll look better with a smaller “show plate”.
We’ll see how it goes before I commit to this idea and lop off the OG bracket.
(Considered the R&G tail tidy, but it’s insanely over-priced. This idea is one option. Not necessarily the final.)
Tried my hand at wrapping for the first time. It’s bloody difficult.
Got this bike only a couple of weeks ago and still waiting for its MOT (Tuesday), but I’ve taken it apart a bunch of times, made some mods to the circuitry so the rear light runs with with the DRLs, and changed the indicators.
Having fun with it already and only ridden it round the block 😂
Do you think Elon Musk is a cunt because he’s a trillionaire, or he’s a trillionaire because he’s a cunt?
is there any reason I cant remove the GPS module from a 2020 TC Max? Pretty sure none of the other systems need it plugged in for the bike to work fine, but just wanna check. ta.
Accidentally bought a 2020 TC Max this weekend. A few bits to sort out on it, but looking forward to commuting with it instead of having to pull out my big bike each time.
Maiden voyage of a trailer I made, too. Glad it was with such a light bike.
Growing up I never understood why Kent was called the Garden of England when England has places like Devon and the Lake District. As an adult I noticed Kent’s geographical position and realised it’s the front garden where you keep the wheelie bins and an old Vauxhall Cavalier under a mossy tarpaulin.
Can anyone think of any monologues about love or kindness or unity? Would be cool to have a trek-based reading at my wedding.
Looking for any 1st-hand recommendations on ODB scanner/tools that will work for my bike (2017 Street Scrambler) and cars.
Want to be able to clear codes - after oil change / service icons etc.
Don’t mind too much between tools like in the picture, or those dongles that connect to your phone. I guess the tools are more reliable, but less upgradable.
I could do iPhone or Android, but prefer iPhone.
Fanks!
Has anyone else found that cloudy skies sometimes seem to have quite a good effect on generation? Like the clouds seem to disperse sunlight and you get good coverage, even if it’s a bit grey outside?
I have notifications on my phone for when I reach a certain level of power. It often unexpectedly reaches it when it’s overcast. I have a modest 2.5kw system and the notification happens at 2000w.
I’ve just hit my “good level” and the sky outside looks like this:
A 90 year old D**k or a 79 year old F**k?
Voted for the general direction I want things to go in, despite local party presence being frankly abysmal.
Hopefully they step up a gear or support won’t last until the big one. 🤞
Who do you think are the best folks on our TVs that haven’t really reached international acclaim? The ones we get to keep for ourselves?
Richard Miller - Hard to choose between the two judges on the Pottery show, because they’re both kind and talented people who do a real hands-on craft to a high level, are happy to show their emotions, and they’re opposite of toxic masculinity. I chose Richard because his feedback to contestants is always beautifully constructive and affirmingly positive.
Sheridan Smith - I’ve seen her in TV and on stage and she’s just a high quality actor with great range.
Stacey Solomon - As a presenter of Sort Your Life Out I think she shows genuine understanding and compassion to the people on the show. Don’t judge her on the idiot she’s married to.
Sara Pascoe - A comedian whose intelligence and brilliance shows through in her stand-up writing and her books. She’s got a fierce sense of justice, but it’s made accessible and funny through her comedy.
Child-free people are often asked to justify why they don’t want children, but no-one ever has to justify why they do. Seems the wrong way round to me.
The first is a nothing scenario that impacts no-one.
The second involves massive sacrifice, adding another person to society, taking responsibility for a new life and deciding that you’re worthy or important enough to take that responsibility. That’s much more in need of justification TBH.
Hopefully someone will confirm that this isn’t Japanese Knotweed.
But also, if anyone can give ideas how to permanently get rid of it, that’d be great. Ta!
I feel super uncomfortable on motorways. Anything over 60mph has me buffeting about and the bike feels too light on its feet and insecure. Never used to have this with touring bikes with big screens and fairings, but I rarely do motorways nowadays and prefer the naked look. I have a small Dart screen on my Scrambler but it does nothing at higher speed.
Any recommendations for a screen that protects a bit better on the big roads but doesn’t ruin the look? Or am I just limited to one or the other?
