No snack for you today, Herr Hund!
Place a quarter inside a blank envelope, seal the envelope, and leave it in your household safe.
You respect the game, so you shall never rip it open. Not unless you can fix radios or develop film.
You also respect real life, so you shall never microwave it. Quarters are metal and will wreck things worse than a hamster. Do not try that at home!
No. Just keep it in the safe, and let it rest in your home.
And remember to buy Thimbleweed Park 2!!! :)
I know Spider-Punk is looking at "Spider-Man No More" when he gives up being a hero, Jessica Drew is looking at "If This Be My Destiny" where she lifts heavy machinery to save someone, and Peter B. Parker is looking at his wedding with Mary Jane. I haven't been able to find which event Gwen Stacy is looking at.
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys so I (M39) and my father (M66) were on vacation in Berlin and we were flying back. My dad goes to the piano player they had on board and put in some coins and asked him to play something (tbf he was lowkey screwing with him because he requested a fake song lol but that's not important to the story). Anyway piano guy starts playing something anyway, and it's pretty good and this other guy comes into the room and starts chilling. But I needed to find the bathroom because I'd just had a lot of ale before we took off so I went to go look for it. I walked by a wrench and a ladder but I didn't see anything special about it and so I went into this room, but I was like oh no this isn't the bathroom it's the radio room. Then get this, just outside the door I hear someone turning that wrench and making the ladder go up, and he comes in and he's that guy that was hanging out listening to the piano man. Well turns out he's the radio man and he's pissed that I'm here (maybe he shouldn't have left the door unlocked again lol) but get this: he's all like "WHERE'S MY WRENCH! I'M CHARGED FOR MISSING TOOLS!" And I'm like man chill out I just found things this way, and also I know he's lying cause I just heard him messing with the wrench outside. But he's like "NO WAY DUMBHEAD I CAN SEE IT UNDER YOUR JACKET" which was like, okay, I know you're lying now. So not gonna lie we threw hands a little and yeah he totally had the wrench on him the whole time like an absolute liar. The only problem is I have the wrench back now and that sentimental fool of a radioman is kind of unconscious, I'm afraid they're going to take his side because they're nazis and I'm pretty sure I saw literal swastikas around his head when he fell down, plus also my tickets might be stolen and I'm lowkey afraid of that ticket taker guy cause I think he's some kind of olympic boxer and really I just want out of Germany now.
AITA?
I know it's just an action movie, but let's imagine an answer!
Walter Donovan, Elsa Schneider, and the Nazis are using Henry Jones to find the location of the holy grail for their own purposes. They suspect he has a map they need inside his Grail Diary, but they don't know where he's hidden it. Okay.
HOWEVER, they also need Henry to find the second marker and the knight's tomb, since this marker names the city that must be used as a starting point for the map.
Henry is currently in Venice, on the verge of solving this mystery of the second marker. Our villains need this answer for the map to work. So why kidnap Henry now? :)
Video unrelated. I have never found a reference guide for choosing the correct Grail at the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure. So here is one. Below are the five possible inscriptions you could get in the Venice catacombs, followed by their glowing and non-glowing answers.

Forgive the ignorance, please. I've seen your community resources page, and I might find what I'm looking for on that link to Inform stuff (https://intfiction.org/t/inform-7-documentation-and-resources/3311), but I figured it wouldn't hurt to check here in case I'm overlooking something obvious.
Is there an agreed-upon best resource for designing games that can do everything Zork does (including inventory, basic combat, traveling NPC)?
If so, is it possibly on something an iPhone can utilize?
Much thanks regardless! :)
I kind of understand the concept of voting (R) no matter what, but the primaries were Republican vs. Republican.
Do you believe Paxton isn't a criminal? Did Cornyn do or say something terrible? What motivated you?
I was a Republican voter most of my life, and I've only gradually pulled away with the rise of MAGA. Please help me understand.
Great Circle is the new powerhouse, and Fate of Atlantis is an iconic classic, but I got my kicks with the Last Crusade adventure game. Here's one of my favorite bluff failures in Castle Brunwald. :)
"BaronGrackle, I'd like to play a game. You've spent your entire life watching film series strictly in release order. Now you have a chance to find out how important that is to you.
"On July 19, the first eight Saw films will be removed from Netflix in your region. So far, you and your son have only watched up to Saw III.
"A cursory glance at internet rankings will tell you that one of the highest ranked Saw films is the very last, Saw X. Some sources rank it higher than the original.
"Those same sources rank the absolute worst Saw movies as the next few you are scheduled to watch. Mr. Grackle, are you willing to binge through the worst movies in this franchise before they're removed in a little over a week, so that you can have full continuity to watch the finale?
"You have a job and a family who largely aren't watching these films with you, Mr. Grackle. Frankly, I'd say you're cooked."
May we all be better than them at their worst! :)
(Reposting without images, links, and possible spoilers in title)
The story of The Last Ronin is the "canon event" of Silent Partner - Return to New York, in this universe.
Mirage: While the turtles are with April, her apartment and the 2nd Time Around shop are destroyed by foot ninja. Casey Jones and Shredder arrive. After the battle, Leo is critically injured. The turtles retreat to Northampton and renew. Eventually, they return to New York and defeat Shredder - actually clones of the original.
1987 cartoon: While the turtles are with April, her apartment is destroyed by mousers controlled by Shredder. No retreat here... though they defeat Shredder later. Weak connection.
1990 film: While the turtles are with April, her apartment and the 2nd Time Around shop are destroyed by foot ninja. Casey Jones arrives. After the battle, Splinter has been captured while Raph is critically injured. The turtles retreat to Northampton and renew. Eventually, they return to New York and defeat Shredder - combining with the events of Mirage #1.
2003 cartoon: While the turtles are with April, her apartment and the 2nd Time Around shop are destroyed by foot ninja. Casey Jones and Shredder arrive. After the battle, Leo is critically injured. The turtles retreat to Northampton and renew. Eventually, they return to New York and defeat Shredder - whom they thought might have been killed before, though he survived.
2012 cartoon: (It's been a while and I forget details, but April's apartment is attacked though not destroyed. Leo is injured and Splinter kidnapped, retreat to Northampton and vision quest, return to New York. Sorry for foggy details.)
IDW comics: Subversion - April is with the turtles and Casey as they attack Shredder's gathering. It may or may not be important that April's workplace is destroyed and she loses her job (StockGen). After the battle, Splinter is injured and Leo has trauma. The turtles retreat to Northampton and renew. Eventually, they return to New York.
The Last Ronin: From my perspective, it looks like the events of Issue #1 kept Oroku Saki dead for good, leading more directly to City at War and the peace treaty with Karai. But canon events tug at the universe! So... while the turtles are with April and Casey, her apartment and the 2nd Time Around shop (and the Hamato Clan base) are destroyed by foot ninja and mousers. After the battle, almost everyone has been killed. The last turtle retreats to the countryside and renews, kind of. Eventually, he returns to New York and defeats Shredder - actually the grandson of the original.
What do you guys think? The wiki for 2nd Time Around says it was already destroyed before the events of the turtles' death, but I'm not convinced that's the case. Also, Raph being killed in a prior fight might be a reflection of Leo or Raph being injured in a prior fight, as happens in most versions.
I think Miguel O'Hara would tell us the Roninverse delayed the Silent Partner - Return to New York canon event, and this harsher world was the result of it resolving too late! :)
While watching this show on Disney+, it can be difficult to navigate episodes in their Production Order: [https://darkwingduck.fandom.com/wiki/List\\\\\\\_of\\\\\\\_Darkwing\\\\\\\_Duck\\\\\\\_episodes#Production\\\\\\\_order\](https://darkwingduck.fandom.com/wiki/List%5C\_of%5C\_Darkwing%5C\_Duck%5C\_episodes#Production%5C\_order)
Production Order isn't perfect, but it's quick and easy, and it has most characters' "first episode" as their actual first. The main exception is Darkly Dawns the Duck two-parter, which has the origin story for our main cast and is placed at the beginning of most lists - so I've placed it at the beginning here.
The following list has episodes in Production Order, but with numbers that match their Disney+ listings. It should help find each episode as you jump around:

Leonardo (Rise of the TMNT future), Donatello (Same as it Never Was), Raphael (Mutant Apocalypse), or Michelangelo (The Last Ronin).
Assume a 75% chance of either April or Casey still being alive (but not both) and eager to help, plus a 50% chance for the other three turtles being alive (but scattered, broken, and not a threat to you unless this turtle rallies them).
I understand that having Universes Beyond in this game is already a privilege. But I'm going to vent about this anyway because it's fun to vent. :)
As a TMNT fan, the TMNT cards have several great good guy commanders but poor bad guy commanders.
Shredder is the most iconic TMNT villain leader and head of the Foot Clan. However, all of his "solo" cards are mono black. This means he can't command most of the Foot Clan cards, which usually include white.
Krang is another iconic TMNT villain, typically leading stone soldiers. Krang's colors are mono blue, while the rock soldier cards are mono red.
[[Baxter Stockman]] is red/blue, which is fine for making a mouser-based commander deck (which are also red or red/blue). But this means he and his mousers are both completely incompatible to serve in a Shredder or Krang deck, despite working under them for several versions.
If we expand Shredder cards to include [[Krang & Shredder]] (blue/black), we have a pretty iconic duo who are incapable of commanding most Foot Soldiers, Rock Soldiers, Mousers, or Baxter Stockmans.
The thematically best Shredder commander is [[Dark Leo & Shredder]] (white/black), since they can at least command the Foot Clan now. But geeze, it's Leonardo again. This was a fun but very short and very niche story arc.
Bebop and Rocksteady are recurring henchmen in multiple versions of this story. But no version of Rocksteady (green) can serve in any of the decks I've described so far.
. . .
In summary? The most flavorful commander to use in a TMNT heroes deck (including all four turtles and their allies) is [[Leonardo, the Balance]] or [[Heroes in a Half Shell]]. The most flavorful commander to use in a TMNT villains deck (including the handful of major villains and their minions) is [[Leonardo, the Balance]] or [[Heroes in a Half Shell]].
Thank you for reading my whine. Also [[The Cloning of Shredder]] isn't really a saga.
Otherwise I absolutely love this set, though I apologize for it taking content from MTG in-universe. Thanks!
The trolley is set to collide with five people on its track, which would seemingly be fatal to all five. If you pull the lever, the trolley seemingly will divert to a different track and kill one different person.
However, the last guy on the original track is holding a magical Monkey's Paw and is actively making a wish. He looks pretty confident.
Do you pull the lever?
