Anybody successfully treat cat allergies with Curex / an alternative to allergy shots?

I’ve had strong reactions to cats for well over 10 years now but I may have to live with one in 6 to 12 months so I’m looking at every option!

Allergy shots would be a major hassle for me for several reasons. I’ve read about people having great results using curex for dust / pollen, but I can’t find many firsthand accounts from people doing the same for cat allergies.

[Recommendations] How did you go about pre-orders for prints?

I’m looking to do a limited edition run of prints but definitely would need to have it as a pre-order to start.

How many orders should I take before I actually get the prints made and sent?

Any recommendations for best practices (in general) with limited edition prints or pre-orders like this?

I’m a whimsigoth artist and this is my Celestial Mage.

I know this is different than what usually gets posted here but I love this sub so much and thought you all might appreciate!

The mask is made of paper mache and paper clay. This character is for my original sci-fi fantasy world, Moonlandia. 🌙✨

[Financial] Would you accept an offer that is lower than what you originally priced if the collector was buying multiple pieces?

Facing a dilemma after finally starting to get momentum / attention online which is driving interest in sales.

I have a prospective buyer who is interested in three illustrations, two are smaller and priced at $750 each and one is larger at $1,500. The total would be 3k without shipping. He offered $2,500 for all of them.

On one hand, I really need the money. Times have been tough! On the other, I am worried that I am not getting the full value of my work if I let it go for less than what I originally priced. Especially since I’m starting to get more of a following, I don’t want to send off an original art piece to be gone forever out of fear I won’t get another chance to sell it, but on the other hand I don’t want to lose what would be my biggest sale ever….

I am also extra hesitant since these illustrations have sentimental value to me, but ofc I understand business should be the priority.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

[Recommendations] How on earth should I ship an 11x17 charcoal drawing?

The piece is going international and I want to make sure it gets there in tip top shape!
Rolling is not an option.

I’m thinking a foam core sandwich but I’m struggling to find a reasonable box for the outer shell. Any tips would be so appreciated.
It’s also my first sale *ever* hence why I’m extra nervous O_O

Just finished Men at Arms for the first time. Talk about a wake up call.

Like any avid reader, I’ve experienced many character deaths before (whether expected and unexpected), but Cuddy truly rattled me. This series is so clever, so fantastical while being so real, the immersion is absolutely amazing….and yet, it somehow never occurred to me that any of our beloved watchmen could actually die??

Like what the fuck!

Of course I knew it was a possibility. After all, Gaskin was too quick for his own good and Mooty was dragon bbq in Guards! Guards!, but I guess I fell into a false sense of safety with characters we spend more time with….I had become rather attached to Acting Constable Cuddy.

Not to mention Cuddy’s death was in the midst of basically an attempted massacre. Reading this scene felt like being tossed in a violent war zone.

Definitely a reminder that Pratchett is always ten steps ahead. Will I ever recover from this?

I finally became the man-eating monster of my dreams.

Now, who wants to take over an island with me? We can sunbathe, look for pretty shells, and devour any trespassers if we get hungry….

[Self] Polyphemus did nothing wrong

Mask sculpted with paper clay and paper mache, modeled by yours truly.

Poor Polyphemus was just minding his own business (art by me)

Until Odysseus came along and ruined everything >o(

Edit: I sculpted the mask using paper clay and paper mache! I tied it using brown fabric scraps so they blend in with my hair. Ironically enough, I cannot see through this thing lol

This is Gregor, my wee goblin puppet. He likes to explore.

Gregor was separated from his goblin tribe long ago by a great and terrible storm. He’s been stuck in the Other World (our world) ever since….
