My "homebody" boy likes his "job" of ensuring my little sister gets on the bus safely.

This is Lucario, my mini Aussie shepherd; he's about five months old. He walks with me to the bus stop for my little sister (I live with family), and I mainly help around the house by doing chores, making sure my younger siblings get on the bus in the morning, ect. He doesn't like the bus; he needs me to comfort him until it leaves. However, he likes the walks afterward and watching the few cars passing by.

I'm overweight, and I've taken to walk Lucario to my little sister's bus stop, and once the bus leaves, take a walk around the neighborhood. At first, Lucario didn't like the walks (tried to steer me back to the house). Two weeks in, his tail's wagging, he's confidently walking either in front of me or beside me without pulling (he only pulls when we're at the street that leads home).

I'm a homebody, and though he prefers to stay at home, he's enjoying his near daily walks (five times a week). He plays with his older sisters (two huskies named Lilly and Hopper) . . . Well, he likes watching them play before he joins in.

I think I found out Starlingpaw's Warrior name!

So, I haven't read the Warrior series in a few months, and I wanted to look at the Wiki, to see if there's any changes with the warrior cats we all know and love (or hate). I was reading the blurb for the upcoming books (I like reading the next arc once the six-book bundle comes out), and I possibly discovered Starlingpaw's Warrior name.

Tips on how to going from controller to keyboard/mouse?

I've been playing Cuphead for a few years on controller. I decided to try playing it with my keyboard and mouse. I want to know if there's any tips on how to handle the adjustment from controller to keyboard and mouse. And I've played games with a keyboard and mouse, so it's not like I haven't experienced gaming in that format.

I currently have my controls different from default. I have jump as space, using my Ex is E, W is shooting, S is lock, and D is dash.

I made brownies!

I didn't have brown sugar or chocolate bars/chips, but I did make some pretty tasty brownies!

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) of butter

1 and 1/2 cocoa powder

2 cups of white sugar

1/2 cup of AP flour

1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

2 tablespoons of cornstarch

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

4 eggs (2 are for their egg yolks!)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, put parchment in a baking pan (I think mine's a 9x9).

  2. Melt butter in the microwave until fully melted (you can do this on the stovetop/brown the butter if you wish to do so); once done, pour in 1 cup of the cocoa powder and mix it in to bloom the cocoa powder.

  3. Put your sugar and eggs together, then mix until fully combined. Add your dry ingredients (salt, cornstarch, AP flour, and rest of cocoa powder) into the bowl, and mix it in.

  4. Pour the butter/cocoa powder mixture in the bowl, then mix it in. It should be somewhat watery (where you see drops falling into the batter, not a waterfall falling in).

  5. Put in your baking pan, spread it out evenly, then bake for over half an hour (I first had it baking for 35 minutes, then put it back in for 5 minutes, and it's last time in the oven for 3 minutes). So, total time was 43 minutes. The batter should still be a bit wet with noticable crumbs. The time out of the oven will finish its cooking time.

  6. Place on a plate, let it cool, and serve. Then, enjoy!

Is he a mini Aussie or a standard Aussie?

My aunt says he's too big to be a mini Aussie, but my father and Abuela are convinced he's a mini Aussie. The photos are from when I first got him on May 25th up to now. He's currently four months old.

Anyone else name their pets after Lucario and/or Riolu?

I named my Aussie shepherd (four months old now) Lucario. My younger siblings joke I have a Pokemon, and not a dog.

What's your favorite funny line in a show?

For me, it's this from the nasty patty SpongeBob episode. Cracks me up every time.

I thought the Mirror Herb could teach my level 3 Lucario some moves it learns at higher levels.

This method doesn't work it seems.

He's nearly 4 months old!

This is Lucario. He's picky when it comes to treats (hates hot dogs, but enjoys peanut butter). I've yet to find a good puppy training treat for him.

What's an episode (Rugrats or All Grown Up) that, as a kid, you found boring/unimpressive, but as an adult, you enjoy watching?

For me, it's the Rugrats ep, Looking For Jack (season 4, ep 4b). As a kid, this episode bored me, but now, I find it's a really fun episode. Is it one of my favorites? No, but I don't get why I viewed it as boring as a kid.

Tell me what episode you didn't like as a kid, but as an adult, you enjoy. Tell me if it's from Rugrats/All Grown Up, episode title, and why, (and optional, season and episode count).

What is the command for getting water to insta-kill?

I'm trying to make water kill once you land on it. I'm not very good at command blocks (never used them before).

Made double chocolate chip cookies for the first time!

I was too tired to roll them into the smaller balls I'm more known for in the family. Made these huge cookies.

Is Lucario a German and/or Aussie shepherd?

I was parading him as a mini Aussie shepherd, but my aunt said there's no way he's a pure mini Aussie shepherd, as he was "too big" to be. She claimed he was a German shepherd. I used AI to see what kind of dog he is, and my Samsung Gemini said he's a mix between a German/Aussie shepherd. What do you think?

Forgot a levigating agent for brownie cupcakes

They smell great, but I forgot the baking powder/soda (whichever helps with rising baked goods). I was trying to use the last of my cocoa powder and decided some brownie cupcakes would work. All brownie cupcakes are is brownies baked in cupcake liners.

How to stop a puppy biting?

I have a mini Aussie, Lucario, about 11 weeks now. He has a biting issue, like a bad one. I tried a training collar (beep, vibration, and shock, which was disabled), but it didn't faze him. I tried scruffing him to teach him not to bite, like how his mother would do, but he's learned that, if he dodges quick enough, he can avoid it to bite again. I've been supplying him with toys and treats to soothe his gums, which help, but I don't want him thinking biting is how to get what he wants. Is there a method that'll work?

I read that spraying water from a bottle doesn't work long-term. I tried to stand still and pretend to a tree method, but he sees that as an invite to bite more. I love him, and I'm not giving up, but I need to find a method that'll work for him and I.

Lucario enjoys his teething carrot!

Hi, I got a mini Aussie shepherd over a week ago. We're slowly learning from each other. He's about 11 weeks old right now. I read online that bones aren't recommended for puppies teething, so I looked for alternatives, and discovered that frozen carrots work great: they're cold to soothe gums, crunchy for puppy's desire to chew, and apparently healthy in general for dogs.

I do have actual toys for him, don't think he goes without play toys! The frozen carrots works wonders for him when I just want to relax with him near me, and have him chew on something apportate that isn't my hands or feet. And the cord in the background was moved away from him.

And can I ask what the "With tail" and "Amputated tail" means. If you're wondering, his tail is long that has a curl that's similar to a husky's tail curl.

Turned his lunch into a game

My mini Aussie shepherd, Lucario, is 10 weeks old; he gets food three times a day. I decided to turn his lunch as a game of find out. I've been following him around the yard, as he sniffs out the next pile of food. He's loving the game.

Lucario, I choose you!

He's my first mini Aussie shepherd ever. I was always surrounded by German shepherds, but once I saw him, I knew I needed him. I lost my German shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Ginger, about a year ago. He's 11 weeks old.

My brother's 11th b-day cake

I made him a chocolate chip cookie cake. I'll frost it in the morning, once I made the chocolate icing from scratch. The photos are before it's in the oven, and after it was taken out.
