2k11, Kimber DS or MAC9

Looking to get into 2011s. What’s the best entry here? Upgrade DS or MAC9 or jump straight into 2k11?

Is the 2k11 worth the jump for someone who just wants to nail the same hole at the range? I live in CT so the extra capacity isn’t a thing, or competitions really.

2k11 or DS Warrior

I’ve never competed in in CT where there’s not many of those. Looking to get into 2011s. I have a tricked out Colt 1911 and an Operator so not new to 1911 platform.

Question is, for someone going to the range and shooting paper is the 2k11 worth the money over the DS warrior? And why? Or why not?

VOLQUARTSEN VS TANDEMKROSS?

I have a MK IV Target. Trigger sucks, I like shooting fast. Which one would be better as an upgrade for my taste and why? VOLQUARTSEN accurizing kit or tandemkross ultimate trigger kit?

Thanks fellas

GLOCK LOWERS

are those part of the ban too? Like gritngrips lowers or Nomad grip frames? Technically it’s not a finished firearm? Idk. Asking for a friend. lol

Timney trigger wow

I have a Timney in my G17 Gen6 that breaks at 3.3 3.5lbs consistently. I put one on my G34 Gen5 and it’s breaking at an average of 2.7lb. I put a Johnny Glocks reset spring on it for a better reset but holy shit, that thing is LIGHT! Crisp glass like break, can’t wait to take it to the range!

Shadow 2 compact

An opportunity presented itself on lightly used Shadow 2 Compact. Glock and sig guy here never had a CZ but always wanted one. Is that gun drop safe? The no de cocker thing kind of bothers me for carry. I don’t compete but do go to an indoor range weekly. Give it a try or wait for a carry to show up?

What do my last few cars say about me?

I’m a car guy in the car business. This is what I’ve owned in the last 5 years, not including any of my wife’s cars, she actually keeps hers about 3 years lol.

What kind of guy am I?

P365 G42 Bodyguard 2.0

I’m now wearing slacks and a tucked in polo for work during the summer, not a dress shirt and a suit jacket or puffy vest anymore so belt carry doesn’t work for me during the summer, I currently carrying my P365 in a pocket holster, I’m 6’4” 280lbs, it works but it’s heavy and blocky, I feel the blockiness and weight of it all day long. I’m wondering how much better a G42 or the bodyguard 2.0 would be for me. I’m a Glock guy mostly for my home defense, winter carry and range toys. The SW would be a whole new platform for me, I do know the bodyguard is the most pocketable, but how much more over the g42? Is it worth getting a whole new platform or the G42 can also work well for my size and attire?

G34

Picked up a G34 and took it to the range for the first time today. Shot it right next to my 17.6 that has a Brass plug, a heavy Harbor Freight light on it and a Timney Alpha Trigger. The G34 surprised me with how soft and flat it was compared to my G17 even with all the extra mods. Can’t wait to do the same to it and see how it turns out. In love with the long slide.

G34 Gen5

GS has these Brazilian law enforcement G34 with the Glock Do Brasil written on it. I think that’s really cool since I was born in Brazil and actually really like it, now the thing is, I already have a Gen5 g45 and a gen6 G17. How redundant would that purchase be if ignoringthe collecting value of that for me? I do shoot mostly indoors and like to tinker with my guns, trigger, weights, optics and magwells sometimes porting, I do own other brand and models too!

What am I missing here?

That’s my humble collection, what am I missing here? Besides a revolver obviously.

103lbs from highest weight!

I never thought it would be possible, I’m 6’4 and have always been the tallest and biggest guy everywhere I went, being under 300lbs is a huge milestone to me, I know I still have a lot to go, maybe 60lbs before I can feel comfortable and not obsess over it, but zepbound is something that changed my life. Keep going, if I can do it, so can you.

I myself rushed to get a gen6 g17, never been much of a Glock guy. Shot it today for the first time. Bleh, for a range gun it’s just a glock, probably gonna go into nightstand rotation or back of the safe. Don’t go crazy with the impulse FOMO buys.
