There are some crazy people in this game

Adam’s story is incredible but I find the blowback towards a player with high morals, integrity, and honor in the form of Ken so weird to me. I’ve seen it in past seasons where a player who wants to play a game of integrity gets looked at like a lesser opponent. I was rooting for him and also cheered him on when he voted out David. The one turn he needed to make. I know this is a cut throat game but I value someone who plays a little more on the straight and narrow.

I’m just finishing up this season for the first time and this is one of the more mean spirited seasons that I can remember. It’s hard to watch at points. Things got really personal once they got whittled down to ten people or so. That being said, it was really funny to hear Rodney complaining about how bad his birthday was.

My older brother was a bit of a financial genius. We got into Apple pretty early, through his advice, and between the two of us we (mostly him) bought a little over 5,300 shares which today is worth so much more. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago and left his shares with me. I’d rather have him here than the money. He was much smarter than me regarding the market. I’m just a 55 year old retired UPS driver. I’ve been sitting on them along with a few other stocks. What is the speculation regarding Apple’s future? Should I cash in some or just hold? I’ve got a good pension/401k so I’m not in need of a bulk of money.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to who Jeff points to to vote first? I’ve never seen this brought up so forgive me if it has.

Anyone else do this or is a rising premium not worth the gamble? We store our bikes in the garage so they’re safe there.

I know it’s been reported the news, but I got a letter today from the city saying that there was going to be a public hearing at the end of August. My bill would double from $160 to $320.

I have a tendency to squint more than the average person and that damn alarm goes off all the time. “Keep your eyes on the road.” It’s beyond frustrating. Wearing sunglasses helps but I generally don’t like wearing sunglasses when I drive. I’m thinking of trading in my 2024 Limited and getting another truck. I’ll probably get some stick for this but I’ll take the downvotes.

I watched a podcast on YouTube called The Converse Cowboy where he interviewed Evan for just under an hour. It was pretty entertaining. You can tell he’s not 100% comfortable doing them. I don’t think he’s one for the spotlight. One of the things I found interesting was that he was asked “Do you have a lot songs that don’t make the albums?” He replied, “No. Pretty much whatever I write, we record and it goes on an album.” That’s quite a bit different from other artists where you hear that they have a stack of unreleased tracks.

I’ve got an Aventure 3 and my wife has the Pace 4. I’ve got a pretty heavy duty U-lock and a coated chain lock. My weird question is this…What would be your level of safety mindset having these two bikes chained up together and also to a bike post while you’re inside of a brewery, restaurant, or shopping? Paranoia is a thing but I feel like I could get outside and protect my bikes before someone got both locks off and haul them away.

Anyone have any recommendations as I am pretty close to some great saltwater and freshwater fishing spots? Thanks!

For Bravo/Peacock to release the entire season at once? I was just talking with my wife and it’s so frustrating having to wait each week. An extra $5 or $10 on top of the regular subscription cost.
