Considering VIT Pune CSE - Need honest opinions

Hi, I'm considering CSE at VIT Pune

I scored 63% in Class 12

Is there any board percentage criterion beyond the basic eligibility requirements for placement rounds? With 63% in 12th boards should I consider VIT Pune CSE worth joining, or should I look at other options?

I read that some companies have a criterion of 85%+ in Class 12 boards during placements. Is this actually common at VIT Pune?

Since I have 63% in Class 12, if I join VIT Pune and maintain a good CGPA like 8-8.5 would I still be eligible for most placement opportunities, or would my board percentage prevent me from sitting for certain companies?

I'd really appreciate some clarity from current students/ alumni on how strict these criteria are in college
