Child’s was the thing at the end and Macready knew when he walked up.

Mac, Gary and Nauls go out to give Blair the blood test. Blair isn’t there and the door is open. Mac, Gary and Nauls go under the shed and find the flying saucer being built. But Blair isn’t down there, he is coming up to get Childs who is guarding the main entrance. We see a shot that seems to show the generator room downstairs, and the space where Childs was. Jackets and boots have been rearranged in that scene. Right after, Mac and Gary are preparing to drop dynamite down the shed hole. Nauls watches Childs exit the main entrance, but we don’t see Blair run out first. Blair is taking the generator down the stairs, and seconds later the power goes out. When Childs tells Macready he ran out because he thought he saw Blair, he’s lying. Macready knows he’s infected, because he believes what Nauls said, and knows Blair could have got to him.

Restaurants that have green bean dishes that are just canned green beans with additions

Obviously this includes bottom of the Cracker Barrel type restaurants that I am not surprised it happens at, but I've had this happen at an upscale-ish restaurant, too. If I'm out to eat, I expect something made by a cook or chef from fresh to table. I can open a can of beans in my own fucking kitchen.

But the funny thing is that I also make a really good fresh garlic green bean dish and it takes no longer than 10 minutes from fridge to plate. And that includes blanching time. A restaurant can have beans parboiled and blanched and just set in the fridge, so all they need to do when someone orders them is pull out the right amount, throw them in some oil with garlic, salt and pepper and saute for like four minutes.

And then they raise their prices for this bullshit and also expect higher tips. My ass

People who continue to argue, lecture, or explain AFTER you've already conceded or changed your behavior

If you tell me I'm doing something wrong, and I start doing the right thing, don't keep telling me why the wrong thing is wrong. I've already changed it. I don't ALSO need the lecture when I already agree with you

Passing lanes are only a thing on highways and interstates. Stop bullying people on regular 4 lane roads

When I'm in the city on a regular non-highway road, I'm allowed to be in the left lane for as long as I fucking want. You riding my bumper doesn't negate the fact that I will need to be in the left lane to turn left up ahead.

Need email reference for character/coworker experience

I'm looking for someone who can give me shouts about leadership and character. I'm an adjunct professor in SC, looking to move full time, and I don't really have many professional references outside of retail from a few years back. The reference will be by email and only if I move ahead in the process in a couple weeks. I can reciprocate with an email reference of my own.

Thin blue line Punisher stickers

Idolizing police AND the Punisher is something only an idiot does. In MANY Punisher comics, it's outright stated that cops shouldn't be trying to be like him, they should be better than him.

Those Punisher skulls with the blue line down them are just indicators of people who either already had a lobotomy or need another one.

When people censor part of a word but leave the actual swear part of the word visible

Let me start by saying I don't think people should censor their swearing on the internet AT ALL.

But I just saw someone use the word "ass*****." Like you thought the "holes" part of the word was the problem? Not the "ass"? So annoying, and, frankly performative. Just type the word out, weirdo

When a business asks how you want to be contacted, you choose text or email, and they still ending up calling you

Dude, I don't answer my phone for relatives, you think I'm answering for you? I said text me for a fucking reason

Pulled the trigger on an AMOLED, still getting used to the new functions and interface

I do have a question, though. Since I've worn it at night, I haven't been getting an "Avg Overnight Heart Rate" reading. It just says "--". Is this something I need to wait a number of days for the sensor to acclimate to my body or something? I got the reading every night with my Vivoactive 5, so I'm wondering what's different (besides just being a whole new watch lol). Also, it's the only sleep metric with no reading, if that makes a difference.

Recipes that tell you to include "one shallot" or "one clove of garlic" as though they're all the same size. Here are some shallots

Not sure if the picture gives it justice, but the big one in the center of the photo is almost the size of a baseball
