1:20am. Boiling like a lobster in a pot. 26C here. How's everyone else doing?

I can't sleep. Restless legs, boiling hot. I want to climb into the fridge. How are you getting through the night?

Best/worse opening day games

Ahh the start of the season. All summer dreaming of might be.

And then comes the first match. It either confirms your bias of pissing the division or brings you right back down with a thud.

Which are the ones that you remember fondly and those that still wake you up in a cold sweat?

Mason Terry

Hi everyone, Port Vale fan here.

We have just signed Mason Terry on a season long loan from you - he looks like he might end up being our number 2 keeper behind new signing Jackson Smith.

Just wondered if you had any info about him and if he's any good? Also, is he actually John Terry's nephew???

Film critics who hate blockbusters.

I'll admit. I hate this guy. Robbie Collin is the Chief Film Critic at The Telegraph in the UK. He shit on MOTU and now he hates the new Spielberg movie Disclosure Day. I genuinely think some film critics jjst hate blockbuster movies because they consider them to be harmful to rhe film industry they want to succeed. They love crap arthouse films and films where everything has some deep meaning but resent movies like these.

I just think they hate them because people go to these movies to enjoy themselves, whereas he views it as this series art form of which people like him are entitled to tell people what to think. He wants people to go to the cinema for deep cultural entertainment so he can feel high and mighty and pompous about being part of the film industry. Movies like these are for people to have fun, and he hates that because it doesnt make him feel important.
