Like I get they can’t be represented on the tabletop but I’d love if in one of the codexes they’re mentioned doing stuff like repelling boarders or organizing cooperations between the Dark Angels and Imperial Guards. And whenever he’s not in battle they’re still with the Lion.

Azrael tries to replace them with bladeguard vets and they ABSOLUTELY refuse and the Lion tells Azrael to just go with it.

Just a series of novels about a band of trench pilgrims fighting against the heretic forces, interacting with various factions like New Antioch and stuff.

I dunno, just a shower thought I had.

I’m making my ICC members of the Risen so I wanna use black armor, silver trim, and red iconography but can’t decide if I should go with cream robes like 30k or purple robes to show they’re an inversion of typical DA attire. So I’ll let you guys decide!

I’m not a huge lore follower but a video online about Ekron made it seem like that’s where Beelzebub resides and he hates his followers being there but I’ve seen elsewhere that actual demons can’t manifest on Earth without retribution from Heaven. Is that right or am I getting things mixed up?

Or would it be summoned only?

I know the first and second companies often join other companies in case they run into the Fallen but are there ever times, say, just the fourth company are sent to a battle zone?

Good day, sons of Sanguinius. I’m painting the first of my chaos space marine army whose lore is they’re a disgraced Blood Angel successor who fell to the black rage, were hunted by the BA and Inquisition, and turned to the ruinous powers for survival. Now they prowl the stars hunting down the sons of the Angel wherever they can find them. There are a LOT of space marine helmet trophies on my guys and I’d love some suggestions on which chapters they should belong to.

Let me preface by saying when I make armies I always approach it thematically or narratively instead of by the meta. So if a force of Custodes joins the Indomitus Crusade, how many shield captains, knight centura, and blade champions should be part of it?

I was listening to Shroud of Night and in that he’s not the World Eaters leader but someone who threw in his support with some other guy. Is that normal or does Kharn typically rally and lead other World Eaters bands?

I know 11th Edition is within spitting distance and the rules will change but I’m curious how it shakes out now. I have all the models now I’m just curious which ones I should paint first.
