Jobs - Macintosh and the iPods
The debut and only album from apple’s failed attempt to take over the music industry back in 2010 with a band they created called “Macintosh and the IPods” which consisted of the members: David Lindqvist, Damon Albarn, David Grohl! unfortunately the band’s first album “jobs” flopped on release due to Sony and Virgin sabotaging its release by multiple hit pieces and releasing their own big album releases on the same day as “jobs” leading to a ultimately disappointing album release… but despite this apple’s founder Steve Jobs said that the band isn’t done yet claiming that he’s having them make a sophomore album due to the overwhelming positive reviews of the album from listeners but this ultimately fell through on the 5th of October of 2011 when Steve Jobs passed away leading to the board at Apple to shelve the album indefinitely and although such members as Damon albarn has said in December of 2023 that he wishes to see the album completed considering it was a quote “wonderful time with me and the two David’s unfortunately we are unable to release any of the music recorded due to signing the rights for the band’s music to Apple and they themselves have refused to let us even release some of the demos which if I’m being honest is really fucking stupid and downright bureaucratic of them so we just have to sit back and watch as those dumbasses at Apple sit on our work doing nothing with it all day!” But despite this the short lived band’s single album is still considered by many to be the best obscure rock Album of the internet age regardless of Apple’s mismanagement of the band’s music!
