As Annie (Susan Sarandon) is talking to Crash (Kevin Costner), who has unexpectedly returned to her house, she is sittin on the kitchen counter, casually smoking a joint while she scoops ice cream from a container. Later, as she narrates about her life and the Durham Bulls, she is cleaning up a mess on the kitchen floor and sees a partial joint. She picks it up, lights it, and takes a couple of hits.                                   

One of the youngest actors to smoke marijuana, 14 year old Wesley Nelson who plays Young Ian Dury, in “Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll”, 2010, smokes a jay given to him by his father.

The Wild Angels (1966)
A motorcycle gang party their way through a desert valley while searching for a bike stolen from them by a rival group, clashing with police along the way. Within the first minute, Heavenly Blues (Peter Fonda) is standing by his motorcycle with a joint in his mouth. He takes a drag and then snuffs it out, putting it in his leather jacket pocket. Later, Heavenly Blues smokes a small roach while talking to ‘Monkey’ (Nancy Sinatra).

“Freebird” - 2008
There’s plenty of marijuana smoking at the biker campfire, including a “T-Bone” joint lit and smoked by Fred (Gary Stretch). The main guys stumble upon the massive grow garden, “There is tons of the bloody stuff,” Grouch (Phil Daniels) says.

After Joe (Charles Melton) and his son, Charlie (Gabriel Barbosa) smoke the joint, Joe gets completely wasted and staggers on the roof, almost falling off.

Legendary weed scene in “Caddyshack” 1980. While on the golf course, Ty (Chevy Chase) slices one into Karl's (Bill Murray) place. Karl educates Ty about his new breed of grass. "A hybrid, a cross between Kentucky Bluegrass and Northern California sensimilla. The amazing stuff about this is, you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the be' jesus belt that night on this stuff."

“Zombieland” (2009)
Bill lights up a bowl of buds and Tallahassee and Wichita smoke out of a 2-way water pipe. When they cough, Bill says, “Smooth ain’t it?”

“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” (2004)
Steve rolls a joint and when he is talking with Eleanor (Anjelica Huston) he uses her little cigar to light another one.

“Rock the Kasbah” (2015)
While in the convertible, Nick (Danny McBride), Richie (Bill Murray) and Jake (Scott Cain) smoke a joint together. Richie takes a weak hit and the other two chastise him to take a real hit. Richie forms his hand into a fist, with joint between index finger and middle finger to form a “hand pipe”, and takes along, deep draw. He holds it in and we never actually see him exhale.

Night Teeth (2021)
A student driver in LA picks up two vampire women for a wild night and must fight to survive their deadly underworld. During a lull in their party hopping route around Los Angeles, vampire passenger Blaire (Debby Ryan) lights a joint in the back of the limo. The chauffeur, Benny (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) tells her, “You can’t smoke that in here. It’s gonna get in the leather.” Blaire chuckles saying, “That’s funny. You wanna hit this? Honestly, it might make you feel better.” Benny tells her, “No, I’m okay.” She proceeds to give him a shotgun, which he gladly accepts.

TV: The Movie (2006). Some pretty good marijuana scenes in this flick. Within the first few minutes, during the “Tijuana Cops” segment, a few big bags of weed are sitting on the hood of a police car during a drug bust. During the “You’re in the Army Now” segment, the dorm room has a weaved piece of art with a pot leaf on it. Then, Chad (Sam Macaroni) is introduced. “Yea, I think it’s fairly obvious that Chad is a slacker, stoner, waste of sperm, polo wearing idiot…” says the Army Host (Ahmet Zappa). Chad is sitting on a couch smoking a joint. Steve-O (self) takes a hit from a bong, in the “Pads” bit. Tijuana Cop #1 (Clifton Collins), and Tijuana Cop #2 (Jacob Vargas) make a traffic stop and begin yelling at the kids, “Who’s got the weed!?” Then we see them later share a spliff in the cop car. In the “jackass doll series, Preston Lacy”, Tiny Preston (self) is sitting on a shelf smoking a giant doobie. He gets promptly brushed off by a guy.

Shorty (Marlon Wayans) finds a small pot plant and feeds it bong water telling it, “You drink all this little water up so you can grow up to be a nice strong crime plant. And then you‘ll be smoked by all the rappers and make them do a whole lot of dumb shit that fuck up their careers.” The plant suddenly comes alive and grows into a huge monster plant. It ends up attacking Shorty, rolling him up in a sheet as a massive joint, lighting his hair and smoking him. The monster plant escapes out of the window.

She smoked joints in “Vikes” (2017), “Clementine” (2020) and “Big Time Adolescence” (2019).

Dick’s Head Shop is open for business again with Larnell (John Patrick Jordan) the first to toke up in this sequel to the original Evil Bong film. The movie recaps the history of Eebee, with flashbacks of the first couple of movies. There is plenty of weed smoking during this flick, with most of it happening at the head shop, including Larnell sparking up this gas mask bong.

The bizarre Hunting Cap Lodge is the locale for a great pot smoking scene in “Bulletproof” (1996). While Keats (Damon Wayans) is on the phone with his girlfriend, we see Moses (Adam Sandler) light up a joint while lying on the bed watching a porno flick. "Where the hell did you get that? Didn't they search you?" asks Keats. "I had it in my ass. You want a hit?" He passes the joint to Keats who promptly stomps it out on the floor. "You just wasted good weed".

In “That’s My Boy”, Todd (Andy Samberg) and Donny (Adam Sandler) walk up to a concession stand where Vanilla Ice (self) is working. “You got any desire to get wasted with us?” asks Donny. Ice replies, “More than life itself. In fact I might have a little head start on you guys.” He grabs a double chamber bong from behind the counter and takes a big hit. Donny says, “I don’t wanna do that in front of my kid.” As he exhales the smoke, he says, “I did not do that.” Todd Bridges (self) also works at the concession stand, and we see him in the next scene at the ice rink. He skates by, hitting on the big bong.

He’s played a Rastafarian shopkeeper in “The Hot Chick” (2002), danced with a Rasta in “Mr. Deeds” (2002)

From the French Dark Comedy, “99 Francs” (2007). Octave (Jean Dujardin) receives a cocktail and a lit joint by the stewardess as he reclines in an airplane seat during the Alternate Ending footage. He proceeds to enjoy the smoke.

The Leprechaun (Warwick Davis) from “Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha' Hood” (2013) and Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) from “Ted” (2012)

At the very beginning of “The Wrong Girls” (2026), during the credits, we see an exotic, multi chamber bong, the size of a coffee table, which we find out later is called the Bongatron. Frankie (Kristen Stewart) and her best bud, Molly (Alia Shawkat) are sitting at that coffee table and they they take a long drag and lay back on their chairs.

Riggan (Michael Keaton) walks backstage where his daughter, Sam (Emma Stone) is, and after a brief conversation, he asks her what that smell is and starts searching the room. He picks up a jar and finds a marijuana roach. “What is this?” Sam replies quietly, “That’s pot.” After a few minutes, Sam leaves the room and Riggan ends up lighting the small roach and taking a couple of hits.

In “Ted 2”, at the campfire, Samantha (Amanda Seyfried) is seen smoking out of a penis shaped bong. Ted almost puts his mouth on the bong but tosses it away when he realizes it was the penis bong. He eventually hits on it in the car. Her previous scene in “Lovelace”, also occurred at a campfire.

Flash (John Mengatti) sits on the couch, pulls out a joint and fires it up. When the strange stoner, Meathead (Felix Silla), comes in, Flash looks at the joint and flicks it away. It floats mysteriously to Meathead, who proceeds to toke on it. After he takes a drag, he floats to the ceiling, comes back down and passes the doobie, saying, "Oooh, here."

As one of the oldest living actors to smoke marijuana in the movies, Lily has only gotten high in three movies, “9 to 5” (1980), “Grandma” (2015), where she offers a joint to Sam Elliot, another senior smoker, and “80 for Brady” (2023) where she eats gummies.

There are too many marijuana references and visuals to list here. Smokey (Chris Tucker) who is supposed to be selling grass for Worm (Faizon Love), is the only pot smoker, except for when he finally convinces Craig (Ice Cube) to get high. Smokey’s mom, Joan (Vickilyn Reynolds) is also a toker. Chris smoked in only one other movie, “Dead President’s” released the same year.
