I have the IMDB app and when I watch a movie or TV show I enjoy looking up the actors, seeing what they've been in, reading the bios and trivia. Many times when I explore an actor's credits I see that they appeared in or starred in the golden age of the TV movie: The 70s and 80s. Networks used to be more ambitious then. They made TV movies about *everything*.

It seems like the majority of those productions have slipped through the cracks of time. They weren't "important" enough to warrant a video release on their own or to be available for streaming now. That's a shame. There were some great movies, with big stars and great performances, that exist only in the memories of those who watched them when they aired.

"Jazz" is one of my favorite albums, so many great songs, but one thing that has always bugged me about it is the drum sound. For a band that far into their career, coming off of self producing their previous album and with Roy Thomas Baker behind the desk everything should have lined up perfectly.

Maybe it was a conscious artistic decision. Maybe other factors were at play. Foreigner brought Baker in around this time to produce "Head Games". Lou Gramm has since said that they didn't feel that Baker was on his "A Game" at the time and they came away feeling that album was under produced. Gramm speculates that Baker was drinking quite a bit and going through marital problems.

I saw or read an interview that Roger gave in the early 80s, talking about working with Mack. He told a story about going to a club in Munich that had a great sound system (Sugar Shack?) and when their songs were played they were appalled at how they sounded. They thought they sounded good at the time. Since their last studio album before Munich was "Jazz" I have always wondered if that was what was on the turntable.

I was listening to "Classic Rewind" the other day and they played "Let's Go" by The Cars and mentioned that it came out in 1979 and was produced by Roy Thomas Baker. In my opinion this is the drum sound Jazz needed.

I came to The Godfather films and novel after the release of Part III so I was influenced by some bad reviews of the third film; ergo, I never saw it.

One thing I always wondered about was the fallout from Fredo's assassination. Connie, for instance. If she lost it over Carlo's death (no great loss), she *had* to have gone berserk over Fredo's. Especially after her impassioned plea on his behalf at their mother's funeral. I imagine it was passed off as an accidental drowning or heart attack but as Michael said did he think that would fool a Corleone?

Is this addressed in Part III?

I bought a car two years ago when my credit standing was lower than it is today (650 now). I am overdue to refinance the loan with a more advantageous interest rate.

I have also been pre-approved for the BJs rewards credit card, something I can use.

As I understand it, taking two hard credit pulls within 30 days is less of a hit than spreading them out. The priority is the refinance loan. If I get that squared away, could I still qualify for the credit card?

Looking for recommendations for good shops near downtown Fort Myers to perform routine maintenance items like coolant change, brake fluid change, belts, etc. Ideally near the Cleveland , Fowler, MLK area.

I need some unbiased advice. I have a 2022 Honda HRV EX AWD that I bought used two years ago with 60,000 miles. I also purchased an extended warranty at the time. It now has nearly 89,000 miles. I owe about $17k on it. I am happy with the vehicle but I am wondering if I should consider selling or trading it before it hits 100k miles.

Just curious how many YT Music users employ the app EQ settings or do you listen without and let your external device "color" the sound?

Has anyone heard anything from the team at Weatherfront regarding their Android app? I was told they were targeting early June. Here we are in mid July.

I have been exploring a number of channels on the app and it occurred to me that it would be nice to have the option to have the app shuffle from a list of channels you choose. For instance you could listen to a song on Classic Vinyl, then one from The Bridge, then Deep Tracks, then Southern Rock.

Tour or otherwise perform together as Queen+? It's been 2-3 years since the last tour. Brian and Roger know, all too well, how precious life can be and how tomorrow is guaranteed to no one. They both have talked about how fortunate they are to still be able to perform up to their standards.

However after his health issues, particularly the minor stroke, Anita talked about the need to recognize there are some things you must sacrifice and Brian has talked about not wanting to live on the road for extended periods. He did express some interest in the concept of Queen performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas (which would be phenomenal). Roger, on the other hand, has expressed his desire to keep performing.

We're already into June and no word of any performances upcoming. Have we quietly seen the last of Queen + Adam Lambert?

I'm curious: Whenever there is a question about the best radar apps for chasing or overall there are always those who nominate Radar Omega, Radar Scope, Weatherwise etc but hardly anyone talks up MyRadar. I'm wondering why?
