I feel like we’ve clearly established here that she did not have cancer or receive cancer treatment.

It almost seems like a fact to me at this point. But friends or family I talk to who only consume mainstream media think I’m nuts when I say that. Can you help me to explain our perspective in a few sentences or less.

Rewatching - big question

Are we sure Goldie is dead? The only one around when she died was Joe and we know he’s been dishonest. Denise mentions Goldie “filing” but does not mention her death. That seems odd to me.

Hot take

Fuller House would have been much more successful if it’d been filmed 5-10 years earlier. By the time they filmed it, the older OG adult actors seemed awfully old and there weren’t as many plausible storylines for the girls’ generation.

Part of what made Full House funny was that the guys were all pretty young and still in the roommate stage of life. On Fuller House the adult girls were older and it made Steph and Kimmy kind of look untethered in life.

Also 40 year old veterinarian type A DJ with a life insurance settlement from her husband’s death seemed like she’d be more likely to run her ship on her own with a hired nanny than let chaotic kimmy and Steph move in.

None of this was on my Bingo card. Has this been a bigger year for the Duggars than 2021?

  • Joe, the most docile of all the brothers, getting arrested.
  • Kendra getting arrested
  • Joe / Kendra losing custody of their kids for months
  • An estrangement with the Caldwell family
  • Jason and Maddie taking temporary custody of the JoKen kids

not confirmed

  • Michelle Duggar having a filmed standoff with the paparazzi
  • The release of emails between Pest and Anna, including aggressive emoji sexting
  • Finding out that Pest’s parents aren‘t really in his corner

Hattie Kolp

Girlfriend has everything, is self employed and choosing her own schedule, has only cats to take care of, yet always seems so intense and on edge. What’s her deal?

And are her and Sebastian still dating or is it just a business partnership at this point?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how dysfunctional would you categorize the overall Nantucket population?

Massive wealth alongside massive poverty, rampant drug abuse, high suicide rates, clown show during the summer, predatory pricing

But no doubt it’s beautiful

How did Stephanie end up in the basement in Fuller House?

She was also Danny’s daughter and was as “entitled” to live in the house as much as DJ was. She should have at least been given the option of a 2nd floor bedroom or the nicer attic apartment.

Did Anna’s puppy breeding business shutter?

Golden Grove Pups use to post on Instagram multiple times per month, but has not posted since March. Per the website, the last available puppies were born around July 2025. Any idea what happened there?

Ideas on addressing the housing shortage and saving the character of the island — would these work?

Curious what year-round residents think of these ideas. I realize none of these would be immediate fixes and would need to be phased in over several years.

• Limit weekly (or shorter) rentals to 8 weeks per home per year.

• Levy a tax on second homes that are neither owner-occupied nor leased long-term for at least 9 months per year, with the revenue dedicated to workforce/affordable housing.

• Offer property tax rebates to owners who lease their homes long-term to people employed year-round on Nantucket.

Would these policies drive some homeowners to sell? Probably. Would it be consequential enough to devastate the economy of the island? I am doubting it given the island’s popularity, and ability to sustain itself during non tourist seasons.

What unintended consequences am I missing?

What's it like to live on Nantucket year-round as a “not rich” person

Serious question coming from another middle class person. What's it like to have full and uncrowded access to a multimillionaire/billionaire’s playground during the off season? How challenging was it to acquire your home?

If Jesse and Becky’s twins 2nd gen twins were cast as 3-4 year olds rather than ~2, do you think the show would have survived at least a few more seasons?

It seems like the show died out when Michelle got past the super cute young child age. If they'd had a really talented set of cut little boy twins old enough to act, I feel like the show could have gone further. Casting such a young pair of twins with unknown acting abilities, despite artificially aging them with a new pair, was a really odd move.

Imagine it being 2026 and a single dad inviting his young and wild brother in law, and underemployed friend to help him raise his kids in exchange for free rent.

I feel like this would be questioned and looked down on. Was it similar in the 80s, with the comedy nature somehow overshadowing the rest?

Which beach is the topless one? Is full nudity allowed anywhere?

We love swimming in the ocean Au natural.

Edit: Per the Current, like all beaches were topless as of 2022. Has that changed?

No diapers?

Despite having 6 kids in the home ages 4 and under and a lot of trash around, I don't know that we've spotted any diapers. Perhaps they couldn't afford them and were just letting the babies and toddlers do their business anywhere. That’s explain the urine and feces all over that place ☹️.

Charlotte is slowly losing her Windsor looks

Did they do something to alter her nose and possibly cheekbones? I know that seems crazy, but appearances are important and they‘ve been giving her highlights since she was 5 or 6.

Assuming RDI, starting with an accidental head blow, what do you think convinced them they were at the point of no return?

The pivot from household accident and calling an ambulance to murdering and staging a kidnapping is wild.

Were Michelle and KJ extremely fertile, or just having a ton of unprotected sex?

I have been following the news about that huge family in OH found living in atrocious conditions. The mother is only 33 and has at least 16 living children.

How common is it to have the ability to birth 15+ children?
