Do you think the distributions from CC ETFs offer some protection against Sequence of Returns Risk? There are retirees who no longer want to maximize returns, but want to retire and have protection against a sudden market drop early in retirement.

For those who experienced gay scenes other than DC, how is it different?

I titrated from .25mg up 1.7mg shot monthly. I was slowly getting more acne as the dose increased but I never made the connection to Wegovy. But then I went from 1mg up to 1.7mg. 1.7mg was when the acne got unmistakably worse, that something was out of the ordinary. Acne developed largely in the area above the chin/below the mouth, neck, and elsewhere. It would not respond to any treatment, including tretinoin and antibiotics, b/c it was so severe. I stopped then after a week the acne started disappearing again. I am male.

I did lose about 8 lbs while on Wegovy but I cannot continue anymore. Best of luck to everyone else.

My divorced mother moved in with me 5 years ago. She is a compulsive gambler, been gambling my entire life so she has zero assets or savings. She is 67 so she gets some social security, about $1100 per month, which she immediately gambles away. She sees me as her retirement plan and her gambling subsidy. How do I go about ending this living arrangement with her? I even thought about moving to another state or country as that may be the cleanest break.

I live in a 1 bedroom condo and she sleeps in the living room. That makes relationships very difficult for me.

I have two sisters that no are contact with her. I'm not happy that I'm the one who's stuck with her.

Should I mention the relationship difficulty I have living with her and suggest helping her get government assisted housing? I fear she will want to fight it because she'll likely do mental arithmetic about how much less she can gamble.

I witnessed an argument between 2 men, one of them was what could be described as shorter. The shorter man was there with his entire family; including his wife, parents, and 2 small children. During the argument he was mocked for his short height for nearly 10 minutes. The other person said in his face "You are really really really really...SHORT!" That phrase was repeatedly for nearly 10 minutes. Then the shorter man started screaming back with the most furious face, so loudly the entire restaurant could hear.

Don't think I've ever seen someone get so angry. Is that as angry as a person can get?

I have about 5000 shares of a major company and can sell them for $20 per contract. Seems I can make around 100k year if I sell 1 year LEAPS with strike price about 35-40% greater than current price. What are the risks?

I don't get it gambling, my mother's a lifelong degen. You can just buy high dividend ETFs for money. Isn't it nicer to just see money get deposited into your account each month without any effort?

I loaded up 35mg onto my APX Volt, but I only took the first hit. I felt very intense physical feelings on my head like when your foot is asleep but it's on your face and head. That feeling is kind of scaring me from take the 2nd and 3rd hits. The visuals were pretty cool though. I did it in the dark and it was mostly dark, with some minor split second flashes of bright lights.

Does the physical sensation become more tolerable taking more hits?

Edit: I actually take Mirtazapine daily. So mirtazapine blocks 5-HT2A receptors which DMT is supposed to stimulate. Read this forum and Mirtazapine does seem to inhibit DMT affects.

A break through amount is maybe .3-4g. So you're supposed to smoke that amount in 3 hits?

I don't see how that's possible with an oil pipe since only a little bit vaporizes each time.

I loaded .15g into the oil pipe. It took me maybe 10 hits to smoke it all, and I did that across several hours. It's impossible to get big cloudy hits. I only get small dust clouds each hit. Perhaps it'll be easier when I get the APX Volt v3?

I did DMT for the first time this weekend after extracting about 100mg.
So far I've only inhaled a few maybe 3-5mg hits using an oil pipe - which is hard af to use. I'm wasting a lot and can't get any big hits. So I ordered a Pulsar APX Volt V3 Vaporizer, since I read good things about it here. Gonna save the rest of my DMT till i get the new device.

Even with the small hits I'm getting using the oil pipe, the DMT hits so hard, like falling from the top of a rollercoaster, it feels so overwhelming that I'm too scared to take any more.

My experience is when I'm looking around, colors are much more vivid and the geometry of everyday things stands out more, like everything's in CGI. When I close my eyes I see some minor fractals but nothing very interesting, I still see mostly pitch black when my eyes are closed.

How different is a break through compared to the small doses I'm taking? It is similar but just much stronger? Or is it a completely different experience?

This is my first time, so may change things in the future. Would like to hear feedback.
After scraping and weighing it was .35g

Ingredients:

100g MHRB
700ml distilled water
25g NaOH
25g iodine free salt

1st pull: poured 100ml naphtha into bark solution, but I only was able to draw out 75ml for washing.
Washed 2X using 25ml salt free water each time. Dumped washed water back into solution.
Freezer time about 12 hrs.

Will provide update on 2nd pull.

How much salt to add to the water wash? Do I use 15ml-25ml to wash 100ml NPS?

This happened at my grandmother's funeral. After the funeral we had a dinner with many people. I sat at the table with the prick. I haven't spoken to this man for over 10 years. He then proceeds to insult my career. Turns out he had been stalking my personal work related information. He accidentally revealed his dirty plot from how much he knew and was talking.

When he realized his mistake and froze, I mocked his height in front of his whole family - including his wife, 2 parents, and 2 children.

I called him Short 3 times over 10 minutes. You may wonder, how do you call someone Short 3 times for an entire 10 minutes?

This is how. I said "You are really really really really (repeat 'really' a few hundred times) ... SHORT!"
I repeated that 3 times. I may hold the world record for the most "reallys" used in a sentence.

He froze at first but after I was done he then begins screaming loudly like a maniac. So his family had to leave after that.

I like imagine him and his family remembering that moment for the rest of their lives. Hopefully he is mentally traumatized for life.
