I recently had a friend tell me he couldn’t watch subtitles because it’s too distracting and too much multi tasking so he watched it dubbed!!
I tried watching it dub and it was not the same.
Just want to know how do you guys watch your foreign horror films?
I’ve watched some good cult classics like Shutter, The Grudge, A Tale of Two Sisters, The Eye, but feel like I might be missing some good ones, especially more recent ones since I haven’t really seen any Asian horrors past 2010s!
I live in a 600sqft condo, located downtown, and I pay around $350 per month. Just curious to know what everyone else pays based on their square footage and location!

Also in terms of amentities we only have a party room, gym, and a study room!

What is a brand that use to be insanely popular at Sephora, would always be every where in the store, but not anymore (or no longer carried at the store)?
I just found my old receipt and the purchase I made was a CLARASONIC and PHILOSOPHY all purity cleanser. That use to be the staples back in the day. I would also use the GLAMGLOW masks.. whatever happen to them??
Pure Muscle apparently is opening their first Toronto location at Liberty Village. This gym isn’t as expensive ($120/month) compared to the high end luxury gyms we currently have (Avant, Altea, Equinox, Sweat and Tonic) which can start at $200 and up to $1,000.
Since this gym is more for “body builders” do you think the gym will do well in Toronto? Their prices might even be higher since rent is obviously higher in Toronto. And nobody wants to drive to Burlington to go to Pure, but now that they’re opening in Toronto that might change.
What horror movie scene is possibly the WORST way to die, that you feel bad for the character and
you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy?
For me it would be Hostel II scene, the girl being hung up, tied and scythed.
I’m not sure if this is a complaint but every morning I’m at the gym, there’s a senior when he comes out of the sauna/showers (he uses the first stall, where basically you are the first person people see when you enter the change room, come out of the washrooms, use the sink) and he always has a hard on while he’s brushing himself from the towel and just stays there to “dry himself” for about ten minutes and always walks in and out of the showers and peaks in the locker room area before going back. The location I go to is pretty busy in the morning and I’m not sure if people see it or not or if it’s only me.
Another incident was a man that just came out of the shower and I had music on and didn’t realize I was in the way (his locker was beside mine) asked if I could make room and eventually started making conversation with me. When he was “drying himself off” while talking to me and he started to dry his stuff “down there” I didn’t realize he was full on hard mode.
Anyways is this something I can report to the staff? How would I go about this and for his interaction what do I say to him next time, do I address it?
I made a part one of this thread previously, but since then Sephora has put out even more new brands.
This afternoon Sephora published 12 new “upcoming” brands (“Sephora Announces 12 Brands Selected for Its 2026 Accelerate Program”) which means we will probably see this in the stores now: Forta, Dealbodies, MOWE, Base-K, Pepperpout, Reference, Omara, Everyday Chemist, MORE, EAUSO Vert, Innae Beauty, Manuscript.
A lot of the brand listed doesn’t even have 5,000 followers.. is it that easy to get into Sephora now?
Also I would rather they bring some mainstream brands that are hard to obtain from overseas. Back then getting Laneige or even “high end” brands like La Mer, Jo Malone was so innovating. Now it’s whatever.
Bringing in so many brands at once makes it hard to commit. I remember when Philisophy was at Sephora I tried their whole line, but Sephora just keeps bringing so many brands that it’s getting oversaturated.

I am a religious sunscreen user and apply sunscreen all the time. However, ever since I became work from home, and I work in the basement (more quieter and cooler down there) I realized is there a point to “wasted my sunscreen?
My aesthetician said yes because of the UV rays, but my basement doesn’t have any windows. She still encouraged me to apply SPF… but then again I’m thinking it’s so I can come back and repurchase from her lol. What are your thoughts?
Just finished watching >!The Skeleton Key!< and I honestly thought it was going to be a happy ending. That was a good twist, where the bad guy prevails.

I know horror movies are suppose to scare us, but there are some scenes in horror movies where it would actually make us sad — sometimes even cry.

We can easily name 80s and 90s horror icons that’s easily recognizable and a classic from decades ago — Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Thing, The Exorcist, Carrie, and the list goes on. These films has made an impact in the horror industry.

Has anyone ever watched a horror movie where after days (or weeks) that it stilled lingered with you? Could be because of how great the film is, one particular scene, because it felt real or because you related to it.

Example found footage horror I cannot watch. I’ve watched Quarantine, Cloverfield, Blair Witch but I get motion sickness so bad. My sister cannot watch any horror movies with animals because she’s an animal lover lol.
