My funny wishlist chart

First vertical spike was from random japanese media outlet sharing my project, all the others were small fests and trailer

I'm starting to feel as if fishing mini games are almost manditory in games today (genre allowing it ofc)

Ugly marketing: it’s a trend prioritizing raw, low-production, and "imperfect" content over high-gloss, professional ads. By mimicking user-generated content (UGC), memes, or simple text, it increases trust, breaks scrolling patterns, and boosts engagement. It thrives on authenticity, often outperforming polished creatives by leveraging a "social media-first" appearance.

I can push out multiple of these before leaving work and they do a little worse then quality content but with a fraction of the time spent! My biggest shorts hit is very ugly! And overtook the previous quality short recently 🏆

Has anyone else engaged in a similar jokey marketing and have it work?
