My turn! All the games I completed in 2026 so far ranked

I finally managed to get a TON of games on my wishlist this year and had a blast with all of them! I had a great time with all of these games EXCEPT Directive 8020. That was a certified stinker

Just finished Stellar Blade, and I have some questions about the lore and story.

First off, amazing game! Superb combat, beatufiul visuals, fun explroation, and Eve was surpsiungly a really great protagonist. Cannot wait for Bloodrain! Will be an insta-purchase from me this time but back to the topic at hand

The story was really interesting but it kind of got complicated and hard to understand, especially when Raven entered the picture, so here are the main questions that I have after the story.

  1. Is ANYONE in the story actually biologically human?

So the naytiba monster WERE humans once, meanwhile all the angels and the people in the colony are just robots gaslighted into thinking they are human. That said, what about the people of Xion. Some have heavy cybernetic augmentations, but others like Kaya look completely normal. And yet they all need to "charge" in the cradle. So NOBODY in this story is actually biologically human right?

  1. If the people of Xion are andro-eidos as well, how did they end up stuck on Earth? Did Mother Sphere intentionally put them there?

3. What exactly is the timeline of Airborne Squads? Like between the first squad to Eve's how many years have passed?

4. Are the naytibas like a hivemind?

At the end, Lilly accuses Adam of throwing them out to space. Is this implying Adam as the Elder actually controlled the Demogorgon as well as every other Alpha Naytiba through the whole story?

  1. Did Orcal know who Adam actaully was since he himself was a naytiba?

6. What exactly makes one a naytiba?

This always confused me, especially with Tachy, besides growing an extra flesh wing, she was pretty much exactly the same, and yet she is classified as an Alpha naytiba. And what was up with Raven? Was she essentially wearing her form like a costume? Did she lose it permanently when EVE beat her with it? How does Adam and Raven turn supposed androids into flesh monsters?

  1. Where is the Colony?

Is it literally just right next to Earth? The Return to Colony ending made it seem that way, which makes absolutely no sense scientifically

Edit: 8. I forgot to ask this one. What was up with Lilly's backstory and Iberis?

So when we first meet Lilly, she said she was trapped in her pod for 2 years before Eve found her. But then later changed her story that she actually was out of her pod and had a whole garden sanctuary set up with Iberis? What was that all about? Also, what's the point of Iberis? She literally just gets brought up for 30 seconds, doesn't talk or do anything, plays absolutely zero role to the plot nor is ever mentioned again. Like wtf was her deal about?

Thanks in advance for the answers!

I just realized why I loved this movie so much. Anyone else watched Wish Upon?

It's a guilty pleasure film for sure, but the similarities are crazy. Protagonist finds something that grants wishes and makes the most awful choices imaginable, one of them being forcing their crush to fall "madly" in love with them

(Badass trope) When facing death, they go out with a smile (Bonus points if they do it to comfort a friend or loved one)

Ji-Yeong/Player 240 - Squid Game

She willingly forfeits the marble game so Sae-Byeok can pass, and she smiles as she is executed thanking Sae-Byeok for playing with her

Lea Monad - Lies of P

Crippled by her disease, she is cornered by Geppetto as he summons the Nameless Puppet to kill her once and for all. She looks horrified at first, then remembers that Pinnochio is still out there, now the next Legendary Stalker that will carry on her legacy and protect Krat and she smiles before the Nameless Puppet beheads her

Verso - Expedition 33

The real Verso is revealed to have died in a house fire, sacrificing himself to save his sister Alicia, smiling as he is consumed by the flames, comforting her to the end

Would you recommend this game as someone looking to pass time?

Hello, I am looking for advice for this game. I'm normally an action/adventure leaning gamer, but I've decided to try and expand my pool and try something casual. I've definitely heard about Dave the Diver before but it caught my attention yesterday on Steam seeing it get a DLC AND it's on a huge sale. As someone who has never played a cooking game would you recommend this game to a new player of the genrem I've heard alot of praise for the game but also alot of criticism about how bloated the system gets later and it becomes extremely overwhelming and grindy. How accurate are these assumptions and is it to the point that is detrimental? Is this the kind of game you play for about 2 hours and then stop and continue the next day kind of game, or something that encourages you to play as long as you want?

Thanks in advance!

23M. I'm definitely an action-heavy kind of guy, but I try to expand my genre pool when I can

Can Faker play K'Sante mid?

He REALLY needs something to counter against Yone. I remember he played K'Sante mid back in MSI 23. Can they flex K'Sante or honestly any tank and give it to Faker if GENG picks Yone?

Is Blood Rain the game Unbound and Shift up are working together on or is that a different project?

A few months back I remember hearing news that Unbound Studios would be working with Shiftup to create a video game that had Resident Evil elements. Was that meant to be Stellar Blade Blood Rain or a completely new project?

I found this extended scene of the finisher move on a gaming subreddit. Does anyone know if extra footage besides the trailer was released?

Looks like the blade will be a sort of side upgrade/special and not a primary weapon for Evie

I wonder what other side upgrade is possible for the gauntlet

87 attempts. Gods knows how many hours... This was without the doubt the HARDEST challenge I have ever done for a game. My soul can finally rest

"But man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated" - Ernest Hemmingway

This quote kept me alive and never giving up

Deaths
Miriam: 27
Tiffany: 23
Gary: 16
Amy: 8
Mist Demon from cemetery: 3
Alu: 2
The rest are from me losing focus and doing dumb shit

Looks like another Korean studio is taking a jab at Fairytale Soulslikes and doing Alice in Wonderland. Thoughts?

The movement looks rough but the artstyle and design looks intriguing. It is still in Project phase though, so they are probably still in early development. Imagine if they call this "Wonders of A" lol

Do you think the Lost Tapes will include the "lost" episode of Audrey and Benson breaking up and the gang trying to cheer him up?

They could do a meta explanation that the reason no one remembers the break up in "The Real Thomas" was because it was in a different tape lol

u/Chi_Geurim — 2 months ago

Ayo I took a month break off of League. WTF happened?!?!?

I have never seen a champion's ban rate reach this high in my life. I can't play him anywhere besides swift play. What the fuck happened in the one month I left?

I really appreciate the Coffee Wars episode!

Some much needed Margaret characterization! It was so cool seeing a Margarent/Eileen centric episode, and seeing them be the ones going through the insane shenanigans for once. I guess they are the Wario/Waluigi to Mordecai and Rigby's Mario and Luigi? Haha. Man, I really wish more episodes like this in the original show. I think the Fandom would have had a better opinion of Margaret

Thoughts on the reboot's human designs?

So I am 4 episodes into the reboot. So far, all the main cast looks great, although Mordecai sometimes look off in some frames. However, all the new characters that are human so far have all looked really off-putting to me. Idk what it is, but they all look like they don't belong in the show. Maybe, it's the thicker outlines, but I just can't stop putting my mind off whenever a human character is on screen. Does anyone else think the same?

I should hyped to the moon about the revival, but I feel more worry than hype being honest. It has been almost 10 years since it ended, and there could "adjustments" made to the tone of the show. What made Regular shiw my favorite show of all time was how timeless it felt. You couldn't really tell when it takes place which makes it all the better, but the revival could add current time memes or jokes that are "trendy" which I really dislike. I also loved how Regular Show walked that thin line of being kid friendly but still brushing the borders of adult content with the alcohol and drug allegories, and tons of adult jokes that we as kids didn't understand back then but do now. I'm scared that will be removed too and they will be completely safe for kids.
