EDIT: SOLVED
The STL opens in my slicer but it does not display in Fusion 360. Any thoughts on what I need to do in order to get it to display so I can continue to design the item? Thanks!
I just passed my one year anniversary on Etsy about three weeks ago. I just had my 700th sale and last night my 308th review. That last review bumped me up from a 4.9 to a 5.0.
It’s been a lot of fun and $16,523 of sales hasn’t been a bad side gig. I’ve learned a ton about computer aided design, 3D printing and picked up two amazing hobbies.
I hope year two sees some explosive growth. My goal is enough profit after taxes to cover my mortgage by the end of year 3.
Solved: Fusion 360 was having networking issues this morning. That caused Fusion 360 to “working offline”. Just had to log out and log back in and I was working online again and able to export.
Seems to be some sort of networking error per a Google search however my internet is perfectly fine. Any thoughts on how to resolve?
I just rolled out the grill for my third ever cook. I saw this large gap which to me doesn’t seem right.
What are your thoughts?
By the way the grates inside are not improperly set so that isn’t the root cause.

I am trying to make a board game storage item that holds "Coins". The coin has a 30mm diameter and is 2.6mm thick. I want them to be stored on an angle so they don't spill all over. I have attached some screen shots of a STL I downloaded that I am trying to mimic. The images are a top down view, profile/side view and a partially angled side profile view.
What is the best way to get this geometry into the design?
A lot of my first layer prints show a discoloration see the whiteness between the two words closest to “Chips”. Any thoughts what could be causing it? I have tried to clean the plates and it still shows the issue.
Printed on H2S using the standard 0.2 quality print settings.
I am trying to split this body in half so shipping is easier. Adding in some puzzle piece features to then keep it together. However, currently I am just splitting it and the connection is so tight. Is there a way to split and also create an offset? Thanks!
