At long last, I can play the game.

This took me a while, as I'm not really one for Crucible or Shattered Realms—usually when I finish a character and beat superbosses, I roll a new one (hence not having the 250k achievement yet despite 900+ hours in the game). Decided to bite the bullet on those modes in the last couple weeks leading up to FoA, however.

At long last, the work is done; we can finally just play the game.

Buffs & nerfs / biggest winners & losers megathread?

As many are logging in and rolling a new Berserker-based class, others still are playing established characters.

As the patch notes indicate (here on Reddit or here on the forums), there have been a lot of changes! Skills buffs and nerfs, item set changes, new sets to support existing and new classes alike, new MIs, etc. I thought it may be helpful for people to have a place to share, whether in excitement or nerf-rage, changes to their favorite characters and builds.

Just got the Growth Egg! Now what?

I got up to Chapter 11 a couple months ago, got a Switch 2 in March and did a little traveling, and uhhhh sorta forgot about the game for a little bit. You know how it goes. I was finally inspired to pick it back up recently and hazily remembered I was trying for the Growth Egg.

Well, lo and behold I actually pulled off the Death cheese strat tonight (twice, actually — the first time I got too aggressive and managed to die to the chaff afterwards) and got the coveted Growth Egg. The trouble is, since I’d fallen out of the game for a bit, I kind of forgot “the meta / plan” for what’s next in my efforts to 100% it. I’ve finished missions 1-30 (and 55). My crystarium isn’t quite up to the cap yet; I still don’t quite understand the upgrade system, and whatever I once understood is certainly gone now.

Should I be trying to farm here in Chapter 11, trying for missions 31+, or move on to Chapter 12? (Secondarily I’m also happy to solicit any more general advice on trying to 100% the game from here.)

A Long Journey’s End

Finished up Darker Side last night to 100% the game. I wish there were 999 more moons to find (hopefully without buying 119 this time) just to keep playing!

Hardest moons: Long Journey’s End, Iceburn Circuit Class S, Vanishing Road Challenge, Jump Rope Genius (sans glitch skip)
