Literally those guys are amazing!! Very helpful and friendly. I'm so glad they're not using stupid AI chatbots you have to seduce to get to talk to a human. 1-2 min wait times is very reasonable. Also those guys are available 10am-10pm literally every single day it's amazing.

If you come in early enough, about 35 min before showtime, the seats do a full-blown motion test with the screen off and it's a lot of fun.

Edit: well the seats were also doing some weird motion during pre-show but working fine during the movie. This was at Scotiabank Theatre Ottawa, no idea what was going on.

So I recently upgraded my Minecraft Java world to 26.1 and sometimes the game refuses to run. I launch it on Modrinth (RTX 4050, 32gb RAM, Ryzen 5 8645HS) on Endeavour OS, and the crash reason is: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to initialize GLFW, errors: [GLFW 0x1000E] X11: Failed to open display :0

But, I run Wayland. When I execute xhost +local: in a terminal and run the game again, it launches just fine. Any idea how to fix this permanently?

So I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan and have seen all the live-action movies multiple times, but I never got around to watching any of the animated stuff.

I thought I'd start with The Clone Wars and watched the movie yesterday!

I had heard really bad things about the movie but thought it was actually pretty entertaining! I agree the animation was a little stiff at times, but I thought the story was fun. I'm also liking the visual style so far! The music in the movie was also really good, and I was surprised to hear some of the actors from the prequels! And there were some funny moments with the Separatist Droids.

Onto Season 1 now!

Anyone know why crew members sometimes walk in front of the screen in the middle of the movie? Sometimes they go to a clipboard on the wall and shuffle some paper around too, and I honestly have no idea what it is for. Is it part of doing theatre checks? If so it seems weird they would walk in front of the audience every time.
