If manga had its legendary “Big Three,” why shouldn’t the webtoon community have something like that

Manga had the "Big Three." It’s time the webtoon community established our own equivalent—a definitive, fan-voted "Royal Series" that honors the absolute heaviest hitters of our medium.

Right now, platforms like Naver just let the algorithm sort everything dynamically across a massive multi-genre mix, leaving no official flagship tier. But we don't need a corporate algorithm to decide what shaped the culture.

Here is the question:

If we were to officially crown a Webtoon Royal Series based on scale, impact, and how hard they carried the medium's global rise, who actually takes those spots?

Drop your opinion on this idea

UPVOTE,if you like the idea and want it to happen

DOWNVOTE,if you don’t like the idea or think it will work

Comment what you think the big 3 webtoon should be

I got bored and thought of a manga idea

The Premise

In a world where each person is born with an attached body part that belongs to their relative hovering around them, our typical high school girl receives the worst luck possible in being assigned the floating feet of her dead grandfather, which have a particularly foul odor.

The Main Conflict

While others possess average or controllable relatives’ body parts, she dedicates her life to researching the mystery of her grandpa’s smelly feet in an attempt to figure out how to separate herself from them.

Artist looking for a Writer for a Shonen Manga Serialization Pitch (Sci-Fi/Fantasy)

Have you ever wanted to have a serialization in shonen jump?If you want to collaborate with a rookie artist and want to develop our skill then that would be me

I’m an artist and manga creator working under the pen name LOKIZON. I’m currently developing a 45-page sci-fi/fantasy manga chapter titled Rexus, with the ultimate goal of submitting it to the Shonen Jump Web Bring In.

have the core concept, characters, and the main plot beats mapped out, but I’m looking for a dedicated writer to collaborate with on dialogue, pacing, script-writing, and future chapters.

I am completely transparent about the fact that I am still actively developing and leveling up my art skills. After we finish this first chapter of Rexus**, my goal is for us to also create a completely new one-shot together specifically to enter into an official Shonen Jump contest (like the Tezuka Award).**

If we win, I plan to use 50% of my share of the prize/reward money to fund professional drawing classes so I can drastically improve my art and bring our future work to a professional industry standard.

What I’m looking for: A reliable writer who loves high-stakes shonen structure, cool power systems, and deep world-building, and who wants to grow alongside an artist.

If you're interested in building something together as a team, drop a comment or send me a DM with some of your writing samples!

I was working on a manga project with a writer whose account (u/Scorched4263) now appears as invalid. We were in the middle of a collaboration and I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to reconnect with them to discuss the project's status. Does anyone happen to know if they are still active?

I am also open to do a writer ‘s own series and I am pitching Rexus as just a idea to help not as a demand or being selfish and even if your writing skills are not high level or like professional. We could still both as a team develop our skills.
