11 Aug : India (Patiala) - A couple was attacked by a pitbul dog while they were visiting a property with a real estate dealer. The husband and wife had gone to inspect a house for purchase When they rang the doorbell, a pitbull inside the premises suddenly lunged at them.

Local residents tried to intervene and rescue the couple, but by then the dog had afready inflicted serious injuries. Both the husband and wife sustained multiple bite wounds on varjous parts of their bodies. They have been admitted to private hospital.

Paying thousands to a breeder so you can have the “perfect dog” instead of going to the shelter, picking up a stray or getting a rescue and "saving that one life" will never, ever make sense to me... For that one dog, you have changed its life ... My sweet rescue now the heart of my home.

Mildly amused to see "Prestige Smart City" updated as "Prestige Slum City" in Google Maps. Not sure how it was done and hoping the builders correct it soon.

Maybe someone really annoyed with the Project might have updated it in Google Maps. I didn't know it was that easy to make changes in Google maps. This can actually be misused for defamation.

Breaks the heart to see animals struggling just to satisfy basic hunger. A little act of kindness and love can change their whole world. Always be kind to stray animals-they need us more than we know.

Lil water and/or dry kibble or food near your home is the least we can do. They can't talk about their struggles but we should help as much as we can.

While much has been said about Raj Eternia and the impending demolition. Was shocked to see that as early as 2011, it was a lake bed and part of Eternia is actually on a small portion of a water body..guess lake front/facing apartments should be a strict No from now onwards.

Shocking to see that part of the complex is on an actual water body. Not sure how construction works, but this must require an additionally stronger foundation in the lakebed.

Here comes the distraction again. Whenever the country is reeling with a real issue, the courts take sou motu cognizance against the stray dogs. Sadly because they don't have a voice but many PPL feel deeply about it. Same toolkit, time and again !e

The same court that does not have time to review police brutality videos have time to remove sterilised vaccinated timid & old dogs...

Delhi HC when asked about the violence done against peaceful protestors on 20 July: come later in September.

While the same court takes sou motu PIL to demonise stray dogs so that they can distract the people again from the protest.
