Recently got rid of my Pixel 10 Pro, no issues with it, and wasnt really interested in moving to the 11, I've had every pixel since 3 so fancied a change.

I am looking at 2nd hand market,
I don't game
I prefer a Good Camera
I require updates for at least a year
Max £350

Previusly had an Oppo Find X3 Pro with a cool microsoft lens, so wanted something different and niche maybe

Other than that, its used for banking, facebook, reddit etc etc.

Can anyone guide me on which ones to look at? Gemini has suggested the OnePlus 11 and Nord 4, 11 For optics, Nord 4 for all aluminium Case.

Picked up last week a 2020 A5 40 TDI S0Line, has few issues so far, Garage is paying for a service, Gearbox service, SatNav issue, locking issues, Parking P Issue.

Anyway potentially doing a bit of preventative measures, and going for a Remap to Stg1, with AdBlue removal.

1: Being a Britits obviously illegal to tamper with AdBlue but I dont want to fork out down the road. Will this flag up on an MOT tester? I assume not as it will be software based, but just making sure.

2: AdBlue Removal, would this mean, the system doesnt work at all, and does it affect other systems within the car?

3: Anyone had the remap to Stg1, is there a noticable DIfference 201 - 240hp, and 400 - 450nm

Apart from the Locking Issues, Satnav and gearbox service, the car is a really nice, I was originally going to go 2018 BMW 530d but Audi was far nicer inside.

Not my First 5 series, previously had 2 x E39 523 & 530d, and an E60 530i.

Other half is finished with her previous finance, and looking to get into the world of BMW's, Finance are fairly limited as it needs to be Under 10 years old, Under 100,000 miles, and we dont want to pay any more than £15,000 which is fair enough.

520d I can see everywhere
530i + Battery, there are quite a few

530d, I seem to struggle to find them.
530d Xdrive, I see more of these than the 530d

Now I am having to go by Gemini on things to look out for, and it has said

520d Is a decent car, less of the power and resale value in 5 years will be fairly low. Cost of this car, is pretty close or over the 530d in most cases, specs vary

530i + Battery, most batteries seem to be approaching 80% health, so Gemini suggested to avoid these cars, as you will only achieve 15 - 30 miles from it, and you will just be driving around a large battery after its depleted. MPG takes hit

530d, Gemini has suggested to avoid the XDrives as all tyres need to be within 2mm of each other, which makes sense, but could be costly at any one time, having to replace 4 instead of 1/2

which leaves the 530d non XDrive, which up this end (Scotland), are very bloody rare to get, most I see in England seem to be in decent condition, Decent Mileage.

She is also looking at a 118d, only becuase it had red leather :D

anyway, from people that have driven 2 or more of the above, what are you thoughts?

She will average 40 mile round trip every day, and a run at the weekend sort of thing.

Looking for some advice.

I know this is a relativly small amount compared to some but, looking for the best interest of my Step Daughter.

She is 18, going 19, And has learning Disabilities, we have guardianship and do pretty much everything for her relating to finance.

She gets her DLA which amounts to £540 per month.

She spends £230 on living expenses, and the rest is just sitting in her bank.

Since last year when we got guardianship, we setup a standing order from her bank to put £100 into her savings account per month, and just a few months ago we setup another standing order for £25 per month to be put in an investment account (Both with Monzo).

Is there anything we can be doing to maximise the savings or the return? I think the monzo account has a 3.25% interest rate, I will need to double check tho.

she has approx £2200 in the savings, a further £1200 in her main bank account, and approx £200 in the investments.

Just looking for advice really, or if what we are doing sounds pretty reasonable.

Evening folks. Found this group by accident, been a “no burper” for as long as I can remember, 41 this year.

When I say no burper, I really mean I could count the amount of times I burp in a year on one hand.

pretty cool that I ain’t the only one.

Anyway, suffer from undiagnosed sleep apnea. Other half has seen me stop breathing, extremely loud snorer, suffer head aches, brain fog etc.

Purchased a cpap machine, and on the first night it seemed I might have swallowed a lot of air, struggled to breath and felt like every breath was on a balloon, Gemini said i could burp it out, but obviously I can’t. Took approx 24 hours to feel normal again.

Anyone else no burping and suffer from sleep apnoea? How do you get on? Do you suffer the same issues etc?

Undiagnosed here, but pretty much everything points to me having Sleep Apnea. I did speak with my Doctor last year, and was referred, but well that was over a year ago, and NHS can be a bit erm meh... Anyway

Purchased a Lowenstein Prisma Max Auto Cpap.

Used pretty conservative settings,

Min - 5
Max - 10
Softpap - 2, then 1

Although I only got approx 4 hours of sleep, It had registered 20 AHIs, and 0 Mask leaks.

Softpap 2 setting would ramp it from 6 - 10
Softpap 1 setting would ramp it from 5 - 8

My only issue was when I woke up, if felt like every breath was on a baloon, and as someone who burps approx twice per year, Yup you read that correctly, it was a struggle to get rid of the feeling, it eventually went the day after.

Looking online it seems I may have swallowed air, and that I should keep my mouth closed whilst sleeping.

I am a side sleeper, with an F30i mask.

Is there anything people can suggest for keeping the mouth closed?

I mainly fly UK, and UK side of Europe, and noticed to get Nice textures etc I should have Ortho4XP. Consulting with erm "Gemini", Alot of people have a hybrid setup of Orth4XP and AutoOrth, Unfortunatly I dont have Massive amounts of space, With either of these, can I choose the Areas of textures I need?

ATC:

I know I should probably go VATSIM, but how does the ATC compare to say MSF2024? I dont have MANY issues with msf2024, but atleast 3/10 flights i do.

MSF2024:
Taxiing in Schipol for instance, there are Massive Mounts My place needs to erm "Drive" over can I assume XP12 doesnt have issues like this?

Any suggestions on Other NEEDED addons?

Playing Black Ops 7 on the PC via the Xbox App.

For some reason I have never heard anyone speak nor have I seen any text chat on this game, EVER.

1: Looked on Activision for Bans, and none.
2: Mic and Audio setup correctly.
3: Age verified on the Xbox (Microsoft)
4: Mic permissions are correct
5: Voice Chat Enabled / Proximity Chat Enabled
6: Game Voice All Lobbies
7: Party open

Everyone seems to have a Mute icon against the name, when I try to click on it via the party section, the mute icon turns off and back on again.

Anyone else had this issue?

A little background.

41 and Overweight, always had issues with very loud snoring, ever since I was in my teens. Since early 20s often wake up with sore heads (Front), sometimes groggy, often wake several times per night for no apparent reason. Even heard my self snore, and catch my breath a few times.

Anyway,

Dog was sleeping with me last night, and woke up very suddly to her actuaslly nudging me awake, licking, scratching etc. Very unusual for her, well actually shes never done it.

Woke up with the sore head, groggy feeling, and feeling just horrible.

Ive always said I suffer from Sleep Apnoea, other half has noticed it too, I sometime stop,struggle to breath.

Anyway, bit this bullet this morning and ordered a Lowenstein Prisma Smart Max Auto Cpap.

It is extremely low hours, 400 and odd, and comes with the Humidity, pipe, power cable.

But I still need to buy a mask and a frame.

I am a side sleeper, but probably roll over during the night, so I dont think I want anything with a hose from the front.

Has anyone got any suggestions on which to get?

Partner has the Original Dyson Airwrap with 7 attachments, and TBH there is nothing wrong with it. I just purchased the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x Multi-styler and dryer for her as a present, and even I am wondering if I made the right choice.

Was she better off with the old one?
Is she only saving a few minutes dry time?
Would she have been better off with the I.D at £170 cheaper?

I am a guy so all this means nothign to me, she has thin to Medium Hair. Doesnt do her hair often, but she did train to be a hair dresser, and does enjoy doing it. Even her old Dyson is used about 4 times per month.

Kontrol S3
Kontrol X1 Mk3.

I also have a Maschine Mk3.
I was using the maschine Mk3 for various loops, one shots, little bass and drums etc, but its kinda klunky.

The X1 Mk3 allows me to use the built in Pattern Player, There isnt alot of kits on it, but decent enough.

My Plan is to sell the Maschine Mk3, and just buy an F1, for stems, and sampling.

What are peoples thoughts on the F1, for the remixing tracks and stems etc?

Last night had a spur of the moment Idea to book a few days away (2 Nights, 3 Days). Ended up booking Poznan.

We were in Krakow last November but we had kids, so couldnt really do things we wanted to. We were to Prague in March which was really good (Just the two of us), so thought to give Poland another try but somewhere different.

I have a few questions.
Flight arrives at 17:45, so I expect to be out of the airport approx 18:45.

1: What is the Cheapest way from the Airport to the Centre. In krakow we used Bolt, or Uber I cant remember, but it was approx £13, it was a fair distance but thinking Bus this time.

2: Other half enjoys Charity Shops, or 2nd hand shops and more importantly Vintage Shops are there plenty around the Centre?

3: Cheap or Free Attractions. Being a Brit were always told Poland is extremely cheap to visit and do things, but Krakow kinda said no to that, and alot of things to do were, price wise on par with the UK, this included the Food, we both enjoy the History aspect of places we visit, so any suggestions?

4: We enjoy going off the beating path sort of thing, In prague we visited more places outside of the touristy areas than the touristy areas itself, are there places in Poznan to avoid?

Currently connected my Maschine to the Kontrol via TS - RCA.

On the Kontrol S3, EXT Mode is clicked, and Line is Selected, which I believe is for Track D

Abelton Link is Enabled on Both

Preferences -> Input Routing -> Input Deck D
Is set to
L: D-L Line/Mic
R: D-R Line/Mic

Track is set to Live

I can hear the Audio from the Maschine, via the Kontrol, and BPM is matched on Both.

Unfortunatly the EQ nor the fader for Track D dont seem to do anything

Is there anything I am missing?

Just a little question thats on the back of my mind. I follow a lass called Hannah Laing, Shes local to me so thats the reason for a follow, Music Is pretty good and she is really making a name for herself.

Whilst watching one of her videos, I asked myself, for these really large shows, Festivals she does and say the likes of Armin Van Burren, Paul Van Dyke etc.

Do DJ's generally Pre-Plan everything? I.e. Full track Listing in advance?
Do you know in advance at what point in a song you will transition, way before you go live?

I'd assume that these really large events Other factors would come into play, anxiety, nerves and thus doing things on the fly would be a tad harder, than say when someone plays in front of a 100 or so people.

I'd assume when you play a local club, setting, you have to read the room and can be very flexible on what you can play etc.

Purchased an X1 to compliment my Kontrol S3, previously I thought there was only 4fx to use, get the X1 and realise that there was considerably more.

So my question(s)

1: Does everyone know all the FX you get with your controller, or do you just use a handful?

2: when do you use them?

I've been using them during transition, maybe to mask a mistake of such.

3: Live performances, do you use them often on a live set?

Very recently retired my Cisco C1117-4p and managed to grab a UCG-Ultra for £80.
Today picked up a US 8 60W PoE Switch along with 2 Nano HDs for £85.

Previous to this I used my C1117 as the VDSL Modem, PPoE Passthrough to my openwrt Router which was also the AP.

This is almost the same now, except using a Draytek 2860 in bridge mode PPoE Passthrough -> UCG-Ultra

Now I could get my ProtonVPN working fine, connecting to a Seperate SSID, and using PBR.

Its always on which is great.

How many VPN Clients could we run at any one time?
Is this similar to the Openwrt where you can only have 1 client and 1 connection?

My Idea is to have 3 VPN Connections 1 UK, 1 US and 1 Sweden. Most devices would be connected to the UK by default, with the US one on SSID2 and used for erm things, and Sweden on SSID3 used for erm other things

Not sure about PSU placement or cable Management, but reasonable case to build in. May actually move the PSU back to the front

This will be my first SFF, just curious on the above case, anyone had issues in building in these?
What is cable management like?

I did end up getting an SFX power supply, also lian-li in white, this was to make sure my 7800xt could fit.

Any issues with temps?
