Second Job Using Old Car

Hi. I have an old car. I am looking for a second job that starts around 6 PM, to use my old car to deliver multi packages, something like Amazon. I am not looking for food delivery jobs like DoorDash. Any recommendations? Any tips?

Ontario.

No desktop app for programmers yet?

I use Anthropic Claude Desktop, I pay $360 per year to use Opus AI model, and extras $100 to solve two bugs using Fable AI for rich people... I started to hate Anthropic.

I want a Google Desktop software that can analyze my entire project and do anything just like Anthropic Claude Desktop. I already know that I can use Gemini extension in VS Code... but a find out that a desktop software is better.

So, no Gemini desktop app for programmers yet?

Brothers, Please Be Humble If We Lose

If, somehow, Morocco loses, please stay calm, be humble, wish good luck to the other team, and please go back home.

Most importantly, do not be dramatic and criticize the referee or FIFA. It does not matter.

Challenges of Motion Rigs

https://preview.redd.it/oe9ot8l5w88h1.png?width=353&format=png&auto=webp&s=0711a04362b8c7d1ef33494b69e1a7386b0b33b1

I saw people talking about those rigs. I have a similar one, and I just wanted to share the pros and cons.

Ref: https://www.reddit.com/r/dcsworld/comments/1u3gk40/the_ultimate_setup/

I have a similar setup (I'm not the guy in the video), and these are the hidden challenges:

  • You need to use third-party motion compensation software.
  • You need a fixed physical tracker on the rig.
  • Things get out of sync when the tracker loses tracking, even for just one second.
  • You can't see your physical cockpit, and muscle memory can easily make you press AG when you meant AA.
  • When your jet gets destroyed, the rig shakes so violently that only an emergency stop button can cut the motion.

More challenges:

  • I can only use either the Quest 3 or Samsung XR VR because they support hand-tracking passthrough, so I can see my physical cockpit buttons.
  • You can use other VR headsets, but you can't see cockpit, and kneeboard software has no MC feature
  • The IR tracking forces me to use SteamVR instead of Virtual Desktop, and as you all know, VD is way better but I can't enjoy using it.
  • After every 10–15 minutes, the motion compensation drifts out of sync. I have to recalibrate the view by pressing a shortcut key, easy, but frustrating when you have to do it every 10 minutes.

Do I enjoy it?

The feeling is good, but all these challenges make me wish I could go back in time and buy a more complete cockpit but on a freaking fixed rig, like most people have. Peace of mind.

The only thing War Thunder has that DCS does not

Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t even a comparison. DCS isn’t just better than War Thunder, it’s the best flight simulator on the market. DCS is a professional, realistic flight simulator, while War Thunder is simply... a video game for kids.

That said, I can’t help but feel that War Thunder has better maps than DCS. War Thunder’s grass looks beautiful, both the colors and the wind movement mechanics, and its buildings and trees are lovely too. I really hope to see DCS with improved maps in the future.

Why does the MOZA MH16 have three physical clicks that don't work?

Hi, I have a MOZA MH16 and I like it. However, there are three hat switches (thumbsticks) that each have four physically clickable axes (left, right, up, down). The center is also physically clickable, I can feel it, it's a real physical click... but MOZA decided not to make it a button. Why?

I was waiting for the global release. After reading about your struggles with multiple topics, I decided to wait for either the Meta Quest 4 or the Steam Frame.

Thank you for your honest opinions fellas.
