So I am pulling into a grocery store parking lot and I like to pull all the way forward when I see two spots so that I can pull forward when I leave. It’s easier to see little kids trailing behind their parents that way. And I see my one of my favorite spots is open right next to the grocery cart corral. Which I like cause there’s less likely somebody dinging my door and I park away in the parking lot anyways, specifically for that reason. Anyways, I am pulled almost all the way through. I am less than a foot behind the front end of the car next to me and I’m actually reaching over to put it in park. That’s how far in the parking spot I am and this giant white Dueley truck with a hard cab on it whips in front of me and is like blocking 3/4 of the driving lane behind them and it’s this mid to late 50s Lady and she like throws her hands up and just sits there so I give like a little friendly toot. I’m not moving. So she crosses her arms put it in park and gets her phone out to record me. I’m like whatever this is the last of my chores and it’s my day off so I start playing my zombie game. Now cars in both sides of the lane next to her are giving little honks cause she’s blocking the whole lane and I’m clearly almost all the way in the spot. So we sit there for almost 5 minutes. I actually defeat a level on my game. Finally, she gives in backs up. She then pulls into one of the 10 empty spots behind her after backing up and somebody moving out of her way to back up and then pulls in forward again into one of the very many empty spots behind her, which is almost directly in front of where I am. So I watched her get out and go in the store and she’s got this huge Dooley truck for grocery shopping but is maybe 100 pounds soaking wet. And after I see her going in the store I turn around and go park two lanes away behind another vehicle where it would be out of the line of site in case she came out before me, because I can’t trust somebody that emotionally unhinged to come back to my car too.
