hair tips for hat wearer?

hey folks!

I'm looking for good tips to improve my hair game as someone who is usually under a hat. My usual routine is HHHH or the 4 Hs: hair brush, hair gel, hair spray, hat. On a typical day I may take my hat off and on and this way I don't have bed head or hat hair and will still look styled, and it also helps to keep the hat in place. I usually opt for beanys so they're pretty tight to start with but this way they don't slide around at all. I have what's considered a "pear shape" bone structure so the hats are a way for me to create balance with the shape and style. But id also like to learn how to do a nice routine for my hair.

Is it necessary to use fancy shampoos or is "no poo" the way? Does mayonaise actually work as a styling product or should I just stick with using it for conditioner (or food lol)? And is there a way to make the hair more feminine?

TIFU by putting mustard in lotion

TIFU! I like experimenting with cooking and was whipping up a coconut curry sauce for the first time. My roomie keeps a jar of coconut oil and I needed a couple tablespoons, so I asked him if I could use it and he said sure. The jar was almost empty but there was just enough so I used the jar to add the rest of the ingredients in and save a dish. A bit of garlic, onion powder, yogurt, and a mustard base. It turned out really great as a coconut curry style burger sauce, I had a couple burgers and even tried it on a leftover hot dog. I had some left in the jar so I closed it back up and left it on the counter thinking I might dip back into it later at dinner. A few hours later roomie gets out of the shower and takes his jar back, and little did I know that he doesn't use the jar for cooking, he uses it as LOTION. Apparently he has sensitive skin and has been using coconut oil as a lotion for months as most brands irritate his skin. I can hear him yell from across the house, turns out he'd slathered his hands in the mustard curry and almost put it on his face before he smelled it was off. I immediately starting laughing my ass off and couldn't stop. I don't know how he didn't smell it as it was a delicious and fragrant sauce or how he was in such a rush that he didn't notice until it was on his hands, so I do think that part is on him, but yeah, I fucked up by using the jar. He was still able to make his job interview on time but he texted me that I owe him a new jar, which idk if that's fair, but life lesson, grab a bowl.

TLDR: tifu by putting mustard and spices in my roomates coconut oil lotion jar.

banned for questioning my gender in r/mtf?

https://preview.redd.it/her6stajle1h1.png?width=354&format=png&auto=webp&s=d3cec60c7f4e2d4e09c1036eaf438959e5f9bd61

i got my post removed with no explanation, permabanned, and muted from r/mtf when i asked them what was wrong with my post, so i cant even message them to figure out what happened. this is a seemingly pro-trans subreddit that allows questioning as they even have a "questioning" flair. so im pretty lost why i recieved a transphobic comment and then was punished for it.

Interesting Mustard Bite?

I tried the most interesting flavor combination on a dare that I have to share here. My friend and I were just joking around and he brought up my sauces and condiments, relishes mustards jalapeno oils etc. Eventually we got on weird flavor combos and he dared me to try mustard on banana. I thought it would be gross as I'm not even a banana fan but WHEN I TELL YOU ITS GOOD. The sweet and savory, creamy, little bite to it!!! Only thing I wasn't really into was the texture being overly soft, so I added some bacon bits over top and I think the crunch added some much needed texture. It's a bit like a sweet and salty mashup, salted caramel or chocolate on saltines. I can't believe im saying this but I would happily have them as a snack. After tweaking it a bit, recipe is: 1 banana, sliced on plate 1.5 cups mustard 1/2 cup bacon bits Drizzle of canola oil

Dip banana slices into mustard until fully covered, set in plate and sprinkle with bacon bits and drizzle of oil. I call them Mustard Bites!

gravy made me sick

I had a very late lunch today from KFC at around 3 pm, I slept in late and had to down a few 5 hour energies but didn't get a chance to eat anything til later so I was really starving. I usually get fries as a side, I'm more of a burgers and fries guy, dip them in some relish, but today I switched it up and got mashed Ps with gravy and ohhhh do I regret it. It tasted fine, but about 2 hours after, I was running for the bathroom. I wish I could say I made it in time but unfortunately those pants were ruined. I might try to go to an urgent care tomorrow because I'm worried the gravy could have been expired or tampered with. I've never had such a painful or foamy movement. So now I'm laying here with an icepack on my head, nibling at mustard saltines to settle my stomach, with the bathroom looking like an explosion. Really disappointed in KFC, I've been a customer for a long time and I've never had this happen. Be careful out there! I expect this from taco Bell but not the kernel!

skincare recs for chapped skin from chafing/sweaty sway

I need some skincare recs and I was recommended this sub as well as this store for some high end but low-key skincare. Do here is the dilemma. Tmi... i (37m) need some help with chafing... down there. my ass is extremely chapped, bum, and inner thighs, whole area. i have what is considered a more pear shaped bone structure with a bit of a soft sway/shuffle, im going to try to improve this gait with my posture and maybe muscle strength in the lower body but in the meantime how can i fix the skincare element? the weather is warming up so its getting into those sweaty months and between the buns and inner thighs are already very chapped up and hotspots of irritation, the worse the chafing gets the moreso its a slow sliding/shuffling because of the sweat and abrasion. so im dealing with a soft slow sway already and its worsening into the sliding lazy shuffle as ive tried swabbing the thighs with a q tip to remove excess moisture or powdering after showers with flour which hasnt helped at all and has probably just made it worse. then there is flour with residue, and an unclean scent, chapping up my thighs. so i need to find some sort of ointment or maybe a different routine of rinsing up the hotspots or a special cleaner? i have some lotion, i think i got from piggly wiggly "bahama boy" scent but its really old and i think its expired. i usually take a clean finger to exfoliate grime and then rinse, rinse, rinse, but maybe i need a new lotion. i dread the summer months of sweaty swaying with a chapped ass.

I (37m) have what I would consider to be a pear shaped bone structure, wider hips than most men, shorter legs with a soft swaying postural gait. There is a lot of abrasion on the thighs, and this can be irritating especially in the summer when it's sweaty and there is more walking. This is the only time it's painful, so it becomes a shuffling slow gait otherwise its just a cosmetic nuisance. Sliding lazy sway . I'm curious if this is just because of the bone structure, spinal alignment, etc, or if there is some sort of training on this soft slow shuffle with a wide staggering away that I could improve the posture and muscle and have a more strong look. I think as a male people will judge me for my soft gentle posture with a sliding lazy sway.

hi folks! i (37m) have never really been into fashion and i dont know much about it. i dont know a lot about brands or style. i tend to wear hats, in particular neon beanies that are very tight on the head sort of like a skull cap. bright pink, purple, neons, etc. some are a bit too tight (i have a thicker head and neck) and will leave impressions around my head where they were if its a really tight hat situation, but i dont let it cut off circulation. can these bright and stylish hats be used as a way to draw attention upward to the head? i have wider hips than most men, "pear shaped" hips and thighs with a bit of a swayed gait and shorter legs. in the summer i sweat easily so i can become very chapped all over with a severe chafe. i want to draw attention more to the head. im very punk, and a huge gamer, and i think i reflect that in my choice of beanies. i have a pink one thats kirby and some with anti-fascist patches. do you think this would work to balance the shape especially when chapping or chafing is present?

i (37m) am new to cooking and have been mostly focusing on fancying up existing dishes with new sauces. i like a tangy, zesty pizza, and i finally perfected my dipping sauce.

 -2 parts relish

-1 part mustard

-2 jalapeños, mashed/diced

-3 parts water

-2 parts canola oil

-sprinkle of dill

for a standard large pizza, i use about 1 and 1/2 to 2 cups of zesty sauce to gently cover the entire pie, and then any additional sauce can be used to dip up the slice. goes so well with the pepperoni flavor.

i (37m) am uncertain in regards to my gender expression. i have been hung up lately on this, because i am noticing that it seems white women are behind the wheel of fascism more than anyone. there seems to be some sort of bro-code that men of all races tend to stick with their brothers in the resistance, whether they are white, black, lgbt, etc, whereas women are more eager to plunge the country into outright dictatorship. white women are the first to complain about males around them, accuse others of harassment and cry "misogyny" when men rightfully call them out on their disgusting bigoted behavior. i worry for my brothers and nonbinary siblings of all races, creeds, and identity. i fear for antifascist men and trans women that they will fall victim of violence at the hands of white cis women. i am not in any way trying to be bigoted - i consider myself to be a male intersectional feminist. i try my best to always show kindness to all, but the overwhelming amount of karens in the world has me afraid for what is to come. i am hoping to reconcile these conflicting thoughts.

hey folks! I was thinking of getting a small gift for some of my lucky doordash drivers. I struggle with ADHD and sometimes a big burger with cheese and relish or a nice pepperoni pizza is what I need to get through the day. I see my community of drivers as fighters in the resistance, and I've ordered some bumper stickers to give to drivers, "THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS". Would you prefer this to a cash tip on small orders? Thank you drivers for feeding our community of human beings fighting fascism!
