So what cars are coming out in the next 5-10 years actually worth being excited about?

From what I can see so far, everything seems garbage. Spying cars, software controlled, hybrids etc.

Damn.

I just want a cool sporty coupe man…

I miss blacklight retribution man…

So ahead of its time and fun. It was truly the best F2P shooter out there. Miss the style, the guns and pretty much everything that there was about the game.

What’s next?

Hi guys. It’s an extremely broad question let’s say you save up enough money / or the ones that have a large sum of money, what are your major plans with it and onwards?

Most may say buy a home. After that, what then?

Idk why I’ve been feeling so much uncertainty. I do know our generation is working our butt off to 1. Find a job 2. Save up enough to buy their first home 3. Both and or taking care of their loved ones.

I keep thinking how I’d buy a home and then get the common 30 year fixed mortgage loan. After that, then what? Keep paying bills and keep doing that forever rinse and repeat?

Is there a better goal in mind or something that may be arising that we may not know about that’s significantly better than this typical path?

Sounds stupid I know. Just feels like there has to be more.
Maybe it’s the lack of friends or activities I do in my personal life. I guess I’m just overthinking things..

If a car isn’t reliable regardless of the caliber of car it is, Is it a failure of a car?

In my honest opinion, as far as engineering goes, if a car tends to break often or go through various issues be it electrical, software and or mechanical, it’s an engineering failure.

I feel like car reviewers praise how fast a car is, luxurious and or the other criteria’s of reviewing a car, but they never touch upon reliability.

You may argue it takes a long time to determine if a car is reliable or not after x amount of years/miles but then why do so many people get rid of their cars be it new or used after a set period of time? Primarily because it’s past warranty and they do not trust the car enough to keep it for longer or forever.

Plastic parts In high heat areas, tiny engines pulling large vehicles, 4 cylinders making way too much power to choked up high end engines that follow codes and heavy complex hybrid systems.

Just my 0.02.

Can they fix the ugly a** UI of both the APP and the website?

Seriously, the app sucks. It needs to be snappy, refined and easy to use. Not products and offers everywhere.

For such a big bank, this app feels like a 2005 poorly made application.

What’s the point of the Nuvolari?

Don’t get me wrong, I think it looks pretty cool. But will we still get a new R8 that isn’t limited production in the future that’s NOT an ev?

Is it a limited production money maker for a more mass produced R8?

I went to an animal shelter and wanted to adopt everything in there.

My wife and I had extra dog food and went to go donate to a shelter. I didn’t want to go in, truly. It always breaks my heart but she needed help getting the food in. We got a tour of the facility and it was wonderful. It warmed my heart that there’s people that care about these beautiful animals. We couldn’t help but ask if we could volunteer (we start Saturday). I was hesitant at first but these cats and dogs need volunteers to take care of them. If we don’t help them then who will ya know? We saw so many beautiful and sweet cats and dogs there some there since 2023... This post is just to encourage people to volunteer if your time allows and to encourage to adopt and not shop! This place is Yonkers Animal Shelter 💙. I didn’t think I’d come out as volunteer but here I am. God bless you all. Let’s make this world a little better for them and us as best as we can! And no this is not a promotion or of any sort. Some of the backstories of these animals were absolutely ridiculous as one being dumped over a trash bin (actually the story of most of them). Being of service to others no matter what it is is what I think is the ultimate form of Love. And I hope we can do that for them. Seriously, hats off to the men and women working in service to helping animals, children and all walks of life. It’s a tough thing to handle mentally but ultimately rewarding in so many ways.

I hope this is the last we see of Buck Strickland and his wack son

I’m still not happy with the sending. Hank deserved a better hand off rather than buying 50% of the company.

Buck is a loser and I hope we see the karma he deserves for letting down the best damn propane and propane accessories salesman in Texas.

Cruelty

This makes me extremely sad. I was at a petco and i always see these tiny containers for fish. They have no space to swim
I can't imagine a life like this. I understand males should be separated but it breaks my heart. For any beautiful animal.
Can we contact petco in someway so no animal isn't held like this?

You should be able to buy a car directly from a manufacturer, not a dealership.

Car market is getting screwed and I hope these companies feel it.

No one wants to buy overpriced crap cars that

  1. Spy on you and use algorithms that tells you if you can drive or not (patents are going on right now by Ford and other companies). Ridiculous.

  2. Pay 10-30k above msrp for a car. No one likes a salesperson let alone a car dealer salesperson.

  3. It’s common sense. If I can order a Tesla (screw Elon and Tesla) online just like a regular pizza, I should be able to do this with literally anything else.

Should stop buying new cars and let these companies come back to reality.

What else is there to do?

Hi guys. I’ve gotten out of a 5 year marijuana addiction. Lost a ton of friends and respect from my family during that time. After I quit, I got married to my wonderful wife. We are saving for a house buts it’s been tough. Everything is super expensive and after taxes it’s a huge hit. I pay for some of my parents mortgage and bills and barely have anything to save for the house or for my emergency fund. I’m practically starting from 0 on that.

I have no interests in anything anymore. I weirdly have social anxiety now and act childish during convos (I’m a pretty charismatic guy) but it’s exhausting. I try to take up classes like boxing or the gym but I have no drive as they are very expensive, too crowded and a ton of effort getting there as I have no car at the moment.

I always dream about my dream car and how once I get it I can just drive and drive and go anywhere without having to worry about much except the old insurance and gas. It’s truly the only thing that keeps me going and of course a nice quiet and peaceful life in a decent and humble house with my wife.

I just don’t know what else to look forward to. I know there’s more to life. I’m outside at 10pm enjoying the weather sort of while people play music and it’s kinda nice but I still feel like I’m missing out and haven’t done anything with my life. My wife is unable to travel internationally at the moment and I have no friends to go anywhere with. I’d solo travel but the motivation is not there and I always go back to feeling like I have to keep saving. I’m only 26 yet I feel like I need to enjoy my time on this Earth but I have to also heavily save for the future or else it’ll come back and bite me in the ass. I know there’s a balance but I can’t seem to find it. I am so sad, tired and don’t look forward to anything anymore. I’m a couple of months off weed and I feel like it destroyed my brain. I’m so sad and just wish I had answers….i know at the end of the day it’s up to me but I can’t seem to get myself out there. Only thing that truly made me feel at peace was just driving and seeing beautiful scenery and things.

Another thing that’s in my head is if I buy that house, great what the hell next? Be trapped in a long mortgage and love nearly paycheck to paycheck? Even if we can afford it it’s just bills bills bills. I know I’m all over the place I just don’t know how to put it. Im thinking of a billion things at once and it’s so exhausting and sometimes I just want to be away from everyone for awhile.

LLC or C-Corp for a solo dev, pre-launch?

I'm the sole developer of an app that hasn't launched
yet, and I'm trying to figure out the right entity to
set up.

The tradeoff as I understand it: C-Corp makes sense if
I ever want investors or an acquisition (QSBS, etc.),
but it's more complexity and double taxation. LLC is
simpler, gives me liability protection, and passes
through to my personal taxes.

The pass-through part is what I'm unsure about. I have
a W-2 day job, so if the app makes say $1k/month, that
profit stacks on top of my salary and gets taxed at my
marginal rate plus self-employment tax, right? Does
that alone make a C-Corp worth it, or is that
overthinking it at this stage?

I honestly don't know how realistic an acquisition even
is for a small solo app, so I don't want to over-
engineer this before I've even launched. What did you
all actually do?

(Free app, in-app purchase (membership))

Former 6th gen ZL1 owners, why’d you sell and do you have any regrets?

Can’t decide between that or an M2. New xdrive M2 is also coming out which is very enticing.
