Cupcake is 12. She is a sweetheart so affectionate and not a barker and I’ve never heard a growl out of her. She has got to be the best dog. But this last year or so she’s been having troubles walking has almost no bladder or bowel control. The vet told me it’s neurological and looks like a stoke. She told me he would have sedate her for the scan. She said it will explain what is going on, but there isn’t much they can do at this point except physical therapy a couple times a week at Red Bank hospital over an hour away. The mri will confirm a stroke. I don’t have the money for all of that. And I’m afraid to have her sedated. I massage her legs and she loves it she stretches them out seems like it feels good, she doesn’t look like she’s in pain. But I can see she’s definitely declining from a few months ago now I see her stumbling. Ugh, what do I do? She’s still eating and has interest in everything. I’ve tried diapers different kinds and she takes them off. Is it time to say goodbye?🥺
