I’m a newb when it comes to ovals! Any opinions on this one?

I was diagnosed in 2021 with a super low positive (.12). I’ve avoided all mammal meats and dairy since. About a year and a half ago, my doctor started testing me every 6 months (no idea why but she did). I had 3 negative tests. I was still too scared to try to add anything back into my diet until finally one day I was like I’m so sick of living like this! That night I found a tick attached. 2 months later had another one. Doctor had my levels tested again and it’s over a 5. EFF these stupid ticks!!!!

Is there going to be a noticeable difference between these? Either way it will be a D or E color

I used LGG for an order in the spring and was super happy. I only had gotten quotes from them and Provence. This time I heard about Starsgem so reached out. They are over $300 less than LGG, and around $450 less than Provence and Fiorese. Am I going to regret going with Starsgem based on price?

I have 2 half eternity 14k white gold bands. They each have (12) 2.4 mm round lab stones in individual U prongs. I got them overseas and made as size 5.25. They’re big so I went to my local jeweler who I’ve used for basically over 20 years. Turns out I needed a size 4.75. He later called that saying he cannot resize the bands because taking that much gold out would change the structure of them and he’d also have to individually tighten each prong around the lab stones which could also cause an issue. Does this sound correct and I won’t be able to get these resized?

I’ve seen Happy recommended on Reddit a bunch, but she must be insanely busy because she never responded (I’ve messaged her twice and she reads them). No dig on her at all, but since she’s too busy, is there anyone else you’ve loved working with? Thanks all!

I had a 3 stack set made overseas: 2.5 ct round half eternity band that was 2 mm thick and 2.8 mm wide along with 2 matching half eternity bands (same thickness but slightly smaller width at 2.5 mm). I always thought my mined e-ring and band were size 5, so since I was stacking 3 bands, I had them made at 5.25. They were all huge on me. I ended up selling the round (I’m looking to get a 3 ct oval made with the same specs) and kept the bands. I went to my local jeweler yesterday to get the bands resized and wore my mined e ring. Turns out it was a 4.75. So she suggested that size for the bands. I did try both the 4.75 and 5 sizers; 4.75 still easily moved but had to wiggle slightly over my knuckle whereas the 5 came off easily. But now I’m unsure what size to have the new ring made because I’ll be stacking all 3 sometimes. Stay with 4.75? Or go to a 5? It’s insanely hot here lately so I know fingers that swell now probably won’t when the weather gets cooler.

In my immediate family, we have 2 with alpha gal which both of us also cannot eat dairy. My daughter is also lactose intolerant. Along with the as alpha gal, I’m also celiac and allergic to soy. I’ve avoided cruises since my diagnosis but my extended family wants to go on one during winter break. Just trying to figure out if even going is a possibility.

I’ve been debating on getting a ring made and keep coming back to ovals. But I am so overwhelmed and scared to make the wrong decision. Picking out a round seemed so much easier lol

I’m torn between the 2!

I just sold my 2.5 ct round lab that I just got a few months ago. I only wore it a few times because after it arrived I wasn’t in love and it looked surprisingly small on my finger. So I’m going back to the drawing board and wanting to get a new one made. But I’d love to see yours to get some ideas!

I just got the results back and everything was negative. I was telling a friend about this and she told me both herself and multiple other people she knows have sent ticks to them as well whose ticks also came back negative for everything. Are we just lucky or is their testing flawed?
