Every time, walt and JESSE never properly close their meth containers!! WHY?!?!?!?!? IM FURUOUS!!! ROAR!!!

I put a spoiler tag on the the spoiler justification though I made sure to have a non spoiler reason for each of the roommate and homeroom arrangements. Spoiler warning for everything.

---Monotaro’s Class---

Leon + Nekumaru – One is an athlete, one is a trainer. Monotaro feels this is a great set up for a top notch sports anime. >!Yeah that’s pretty much it, though the dynamic would be funny given Leon’s dislike of baseball.!<

Mahiru + Kaede – They are outspoken artistic driven women. They both will take leadership of a situation. Monotaro likes leaders in his group since he sees himself as the leader.>! Mahiru could of worked with Tenko but I thought these two were more alike.!<

Gundam + Gonta – Both work with animals. Monophane liked cute animals but is afraid of all those creepy crawly insects so Monotaro got the pair since he likes Gundam’s scarf and resonates with the darkness vibe. >!Fairly basic pairing with bog standard reasoning. These two could work personally wise better with others but this is where they be with me.!<

Kyoko + Ryoko – They both of them have memory loss. Something Monotaro relates to. >!I feel this would be something Junko would like as a grouping. The ultimate detective paired with the mastermind of the whole death game. The despair Junko would feel being found out. The endless cat and mouse with Junko herself being unaware of it would give her such a thrill.!<

Makoto + Kyosuke – They are both sociable people who get along well with others. Monotaro watches anime and has seen haram shows and feels these two give off main character energy and the more main characters, the more leader-like his group is! >!Yah this was one of my lesser roommate selections. Kyosuke doesn’t have much going for him so it was hard to put him with someone. What little we do know matches Makoto well enough.!<

Kirumi + Chisa – A maid and a housekeeper are a good match. Monotaro likes their confidence and he is the most child like of the monokubs so he would these two to be like mother figures for him.>! Fairly straight forward talent based grouping. Not very deep.!<

Kaito + Koichi – Both are looking for stars. One in the sky and another on the Earth. Monotaro has a star on his scarf so wants the star searches in his group. He thinks it will make him more of a leader if the two star searchers are in his group then he can pretend they found him. >!Basic talent pairing though Kaito is good at bringing out the best in those around him.!<

---Monosuke’s Class---

Byakuya + Fuyuhiko – Natural born leaders as in they both inherited their positions of leadership. Monosuke sees himself as a shadowy wise guy so of course he would pair up with the mobster. >!This is just a talent pairing, I don’t think they would get along. Byakuya would walk all over Fuyuhiko.!<

Aoi + Akane – Both have a physical based talent and look somewhat alike. Monosuke didn’t want his class to be a total ‘sausage fest’ and wanted some eye candy and likes how strong they are as well. >!Yah, kinda a no brainer pairing here, personality wise, they kind of clash with Aoi being more chipper while Akane is more aggressive.!<

Kiyotaka + Kyosuke Both are very into authority, Kiyotaka values and enforces rules while Kyosuke is an authoritarian. They both are also hard workers and take on a leadership role. Monosuke would wish to court those in power and these two would be a perfect fit for his plan. >!I do like their contrast with both having school based talents, however, Kyosuke would likely end up dragging Kiyotaka down since Kyosuke is far more ruthless than Kiyotaka.!<

Rantaro + Korekiyo Both have a deep connection to their sisters and have experience traveling the world. Monosuke wants to show off his success and wealth and these two know the lay of the land so could get him the best travel deals. >!I find these two an interesting contrast, their initial talents and family relationships seem similar at a glance but these two are quite the opposites, Rantaro hasn’t had a girlfriend while Korekiyo has experience, Rantaro and Korekiyo both have a great attachment to their sister(s) in completely different ways. Also personality wise, they would have a lot to talk about but Rantaro would sense Korekiyo’s weirdness and likely not get along.!<

Kokichi + Masaru Both have a mischievous nature and display leadership characteristics. Monosuke loves leaders and tries to ally himself with leaders when he can. >!Kokichi would tease Masaru and they would likely form an antagonistic relationship. Given Kokichi’s intelligence, he would gain the upper hand. I think there could be a better match for these two but I couldn’t find it and they fit together well enough.!<

Teruteru + Yuto Both are massive pervs and look childish. Monosuke likes the idea of having a spy on his team who can sneak drugged food to other classes students. >!These two are made for each other, I can’t think of a more perfect pair.!<

Ryota + Yasuke – Both of their talents can manipulate the mind of others. Monosuke would love for them to brainwash others into loving Monosuke so he can be popular. >!Besides their talents, these two don’t mesh all that well. Ryota would just stick in his dorm room as much as possible.!<

Isshiki – There is an odd number of students so the monokubs figured that having the ultimate bodyguard paired with anyone would be an unfair advantage. Monosuke hopes that Isshiki would protect him. >!There isn’t an odd number of students, there are eight Madarai brothers so all eight of them would be paired with each other.!<

---Monophanie’s Class---

Celeste + Sonia – Both maintain a regal European atmosphere. Monophanie would of course love a pretty princess on her team. >!I think Celeste would resent Sonia for having naturally what Celeste so desperately craves. Also I don’t think they would become friends.!<

Junko + Tsumugi – Both have an apparel related talent. Monophanie would like them to make pretty dresses for the class and herself. >!Junko would actually be Mukuro and by rooming with Tsumugi, would be able to better coordinate together when running the game.!<

Chiaki + Himiko – Both have a likewise sleepy way about things. Monophanie thinks both are adorable and sufficiently girly. >!What I find interesting is that despite their superficial similarities, they both have a completely different approach to their respective talents. Himiko is hard focused into being a mage at the expense of other things while Chiaki wishes to expand past her gaming and sees her talent as something that holds her back compared to those without a talent. I do think they would be fine with each other.!<

Hiyoko + Kotoko – Both have likewise talents, appearance and personality. Monophanie would approve of dancing and preforming as girly activities! >!Despite both being bullies, Hiyoko would likely come out on top due to figuring out Kotoko’s trigger and abusing it.!<

Angie + Ruruka – Both tend to act as manipulative leaders to those around them using indirect methods to get others on their sides. Monophanie would love to have a classroom full of yummy sweets and pretty art! >!Their personalities contrast with one another, Angie’s strange behavior would be off putting to Ruruka. Both their talents can have a brainwashing effect which could be an interesting battle to see who can brainwash the other first. Both are selfish and put themselves before others.!<

Monaca + Miaya – Both are in wheelchairs so their roommate situation is highly practical. Monophanie finds their ascetic girly and delicate. >!Their pairing is fairly practical due to both being in wheelchairs. Miaya was also a robot controlled by Monaca which would be a highly optimal pairing in that case.!<

Daisaku + Santa – They have related talents. Monophanie loves pretty flowers. >!That’s it, not much else going on. Here are some extra words.!<

---Monodam’s Class---

Yasuhiro + Kazuichi – Both are good with technology and are more cheery and laid back but ultimately are both cowardly. The other Monokubs see their cowardly behavior and dump the pair in Monodam’s class. >!DR1 and DR1 have a lot of contrasting characters and these two are another example of this I believe. They fill a likewise role in their respective games.!<

Hifumi + Nagito – Both display a hyper fixation towards anime/fanfiction and hope respectively. The Monokubs see Naagito’s luck talent as redundant and don’t want a “copy cat” talent in their class. >!Also they see both Hifumi and Nagito as losers so they are dumped into Monodam’s class. Both of these guys are kinda pathetic and have a narrow worldview where they devote themselves to a concept of Princess Piggles and hope respectively. They also will look down on those that they perspective as inferior. Hifumi will make comments about women while Nagito looks down on the talentless. I don’t they they would get along long term. Nagito would respect Hifumi’s talent but Hifumi would be wierded out by Nagito when he reveals his true character.!<

Hajime + Byakuya – Both are skeptical who display a natural charisma. Both of their talents are redundant, we already have a ??? and an affluent progeny talent so they both are sent into the dumpster that is Monodam’s class. >!I think both of these characters can act as natural leader types. Also both have a secret identity given that one is the ultimate imposer and the other is Izuru. I think they would get along well.!<

Toko + Miu – Both are looked down on by others due to their abrasive personalities. Though Miu comes off as confident, it is a mask for her more timid self. The monokubs don’t want two pathetic losers in their classes so they are in Monodam’s class. >!One thing that struck me was that Miu when she was young used to be completely different until she got into a car crash that completely changed her personality. Toko also has a drastic personality change the hers into Genocide Jack is more temporary. I don’t think they would get along.!<

Chihiro + K1-B0 – Both have technology related talents and there was one extra girl so they decided to pair her with the robot to prevent a co-ed dorm situation. The monokubs are already robots so don’t need a student who’s talent is robot so off they go to Monodam’s class. >!This is the best way to hide Chihiro’s true gender, putting Isshiki with K1-B0 would result in nine student’s dorming together and make Isshiki’s true talent harder to hide. Also Chihiro and K1-B0 have talent synergy. I think they would become friends.!<

Shuichi + Jataro – Both are quiet and look down on themselves. The monokubs see two pathetic students and see Jataro’s talent as redundant so put them in Mondam’s class. >!I think it is interesting that both of them use their head gear to hide because of hatred. Shuichi couldn’t forget the look of malice and hatred the culprit shot his way which is part of why he started wearing his hat. Jataro has a more pronounced relatinship with hatred, begin raised in an abuse household where his Jataro’s head gear was put on him due to his mother’s hatred of him. I don’t think they would get along Shuichi would be off put by Jataro’s outbursts.!<

Mikan + Seiko – Both of them have likewise talents and personalities. They are seen as pathetic by the other monokubs so they get tossed into Monodam’s class. >!These two are just a great match for each other. As simple as that.!<

---Monokid’s Class---

Sayaka + Ibuki – They have likewise talents. Monokid loves rock and roll so wants these to to preform a killer song to be his back track. >!Just like their music, their personalities would clash.!<

Mondo + Ryoma – Both are tough guys who have an attachment to a pet. Monokid would love to have a ‘kickbutt’ biker on his team, would fit his tough guy vibe. >!Both of them are very guarded and are quite reluctant to share their softer side. Their criminal backstories also contrast nicely.!<

Sakura + Tenko – They both have martial arts related talents. Monokid wants some fighting tough babes in his class. >!Though they have a red oni and blue oni vibe going, I think they would get along and enjoy sparing. Their talents are why I put them in the same grouping.!<

Peko + Maki – The two of them look alike and both are very serious though they each have a softer side. Monokid thinks swords are cool and wants another fighter. Plus, as the most childish, would like Maki since she has a talent for child care.>!It’s funny that Maki hates swords, when I first played, I gave her a sword as a free time gift and was shocked that she hated it. These two are weapon fighters and would make for an interesting duo.!<

Nagisa + Sonosuke – Both are calm and serious guys. Monodam wants Sonosuke to make him cool stuff. >!Both are devoted to toxic individuals. Meh pairing, Sonosuke doesn’t have much going on.!<

Great Gozu + Juzo – They both have a fighting talent. Monodam wants more fighters in his class. >!They have contrasting personalities and Great Gozu would be better able to keep Juzo in line than most.!<

Tsurugi + Ted – Both are killers. Monokid thinks that is cool. >!Nothing more to really say here.!<
