Is it just me, or was it considerably quieter than last year?

Lit the same pack of firewood in the firepit that I do every year while my neighbors footed the bill for the spectacle. Didnt even make it halfway through the bundle before I doused it and went inside.

Seemed like it died out way sooner and the peak was much earlier than in previous years. Town of clay.

Seems odd for a big anniversary year.

How was it in your part of the city?

Was using Media Monkey, but the free version does not allow you to rip CD's after the 30 day trial, and TBH the UI is pretty clunky. Poor formatting of Metadata, tracks getting input out of order, etc.

Looking for a 1 click alternative to iTunes to use with an iFlashed 5.5 Gen.

Please don't say "just use iTunes", it has a bug where it will not sync music to my device and I would rather not have to fuck with finding a legacy build that works with modern OS and then have to worry about accidentally updating it to a busted version.

Just had to reset my game because I'm used to opening up my boss fights with OD's so they can start charging up again. I did 30k damage even while using an Ice Ball that had halved damage, so only Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku got xp.

Granted, I've done a LITTLE grinding (Tidus has Hastega) so Wakka hits for 6k with crits, but holy hell, I didnt expect that much damage.

I work at a mom and pop. We have no official policy regarding tip outs, and drivers make below MW.

Occasionally, if I get a large tip on a catering order, ill toss some to the insiders, like $20 in the tip jar when Ive gotten $80+ tips.

Do you do this, or am I being crazy?

To be clear, if its just a busy night and I make good money on "regular" orders, ive never even considered tipping them out, just for the large orders where we devote the kitchen guy to making pasta trays or we hold the oven for one order.

Apologies in advance. I have not not fleshed this out, and TBH, I'm looking for you guys to help me laugh when all I want to do is cry.

My mom has cancer, and she went into the hospital recently for an infection. She kept saying "im dying, im gonna die" even though her numbers were getting better. I kept telling her she's going to be fine and its the infection talking.

The very next day, the doctor pulled me aside and told me we should consider comfort care. The look on my mom's face when I had to tell her "I was wrong, you were right".

Someone help me laugh. I need some levity.

Dont want to get into too many details because it's going to go deep into "sob story" territory.

TLDR I have been taking care of my mother for the last 10 years. Havent been on a lease in 5 years and I dont even know the contact info for my last landlord. Mom is not long for this world and within the next few weeks / months I will need to find my own apartment.

Ive got mental health issues (nothing crazy) that make it hard for me to do some of the normal adult things like finding a place, if I dont have a bit of help.

I have a dog who unfortunately is a double whammy of breed / size. Extremely friendly, but he's a 100 lb American Bulldog, so i know many landlords will refuse him on sight.

I do have family semi locally that could take in my dog or me, if absolutely necessary, but I am really trying to be self sufficient and look at options that dont place an undue burden on others who are going through the same predicament (minus the housing disruption, ofc).

Continuous employment since I was 14 (minus a couple years from 18-20 while I was a student and worked seasonally). Clean criminal record aside from a moving violation.

Apologies if this is a frequently asked question or comes off as needy, this has all been extremely sudden and I'm trying to navigate housing as well as preparing for the death of my mother, so my not always typical brain is a little bit more haggard than usual.

Long story short, I fucked up. About 4 months ago, I had too many and blew a .12 after going out to bar trivia. Pled down to a DUAI, paid my fines, did my classes, and in 2 weeks I get my license back. Been driving on a conditional the last 2+ months.

From what I've read, dashing WITH a conditional is a great way to get deactivated, and questionabley legal.

Has anyone had experience dashing after you get your full license back, and should I expect problems if I wait a few weeks to start dashing again? Havent used the platform in a couple years, I can still dash after launching the app but I have NOT tried to take offers or even gone active yet.

Is it as simple as "no more dashing once they run a DMV check", or could I be in the clear if I wait until my full license is reinstated?

I have some life altering stuff happening right now (sick family member will need home care, which i can provide, but I may need the flexibility of dashing instead of my current set schedule).

If anyone has navigated this issue themselves I would appreciate advice.

Please, no "you shouldnt have done that". I know. Looking for answers and not criticism.
