Any tips on lovingly recommending someone check out SmartRecovery?

There is someone in my life who is trying to get sober but needs more help. I want to share the idea of SmartRecovery (because the only group/program he knows about is AA and doesn’t want to do that) but I worry about coming on too strong with it. I was thinking about ordering the literature from their site and leaving it out, but even that may be a little too forward and turn him off to it specifically because I suggested it. I know for a lot of things, people are more drawn to them if they’ve discovered it themselves vs having someone tell them to do it.

Back to the drawing board on a middle name for Isabel

Update/edit since it’s been recommended by everyone so far: i absolutely love Emmeline, you are great at reading my style! But is having all three girls with -line in their first or middle name too much? Currently we have one first and one middle ending in line.
*******
I thought we were locked in on Isabel Emilia for our third girl, but husband thought I meant Amelia with an A. I don’t care for Amelia with an A, so we’re back to the drawing board for middle names. He thinks everyone will mispronounce Emilia because it’s a variant spelling.

I realize both of those names (Isabel/la and Amelia/Emilia) are quite popular but that’s not why I chose it. Our other girls’ names are much farther up in the top 100. I would actually prefer something a little higher up so that their names wont be time-stamped.

Husband wants it to start with a vowel (though I’m open to hearing other suggestions; he thinks the name flows better into a vowel due to its ending sound).

Cannot be anything El (Ellie, Elenor, Eloise), Ada-, or ending in -Lyn/line.

Would prefer three syllables. Both of the other girls have 3 syllables in their first and middle name so that is not too long/too much for us.

Other names I love but we aren’t using for one reason or another (some are the names of our other children).

Adaline
Elizabeth
Margot
Noelle
Madeline
Evangeline (although I have to admit this one is veering into “too much” for me)
Annelise
Genevieve
Eloise
Juliana

I grew up in the north on a huge lake with beautiful outdoor pools for each city, free for the residents to attend. Now I live in what you think would be the pool capital of the world, but there are no municipal pools except in the inner city. That one has no bathrooms (gross! You know everyone is just going in the pool), the kids are extremely unruly, it’s a far drive, and you have to wait in a very long line to get in.

We have access to a base pool but there’s no shallow end and I can’t hold all my kids at once. My husband is never available to come with me and that one is far drive as well.

It’s SO hot here and I just want to get outside and enjoy the summer and practice swimming with my oldest but there’s absolutely no way to do it here.

We have splash pads but I find them a bit gross and they’re not fun for me. I’m pregnant and just want to float. Our backyard is a huge hill so we can’t put in an above ground pool either.

My little toddler is fast approaching 4, I’m pregnant with baby #3, and I feel my time with this youngest version of her slipping away. She hates going to bed by herself but she is overall pretty good about it. She does not require me to stay in her room until she falls asleep or anything like that. Eventually we will move her younger sister into her room but we’re not there yet.

My husband always falls asleep on the couch on weekends so I’d love to institute sleepovers in mom’s bed on just the weekends. Has anyone done this successfully without it creating chaos (begging to sleep in your bed) every other night?

Just feeling proud and wanted to share. I’ve just started to come out of the first trimester fog (at 17 weeks) and did my prenatal strength workout two days in a row this week so I’m feeling proud. I also did a four mile walk yesterday. The plan was to do that today as well but we ran out of time. I am going to try to get on the treadmill after I put the kids down though.

My weight is being closely monitored this time because baby #2 was very big, so in addition to eating healthfully I’m trying to stay on top of my workouts. Ideally I’d like to work out 4-5 days a week. I find if I do anything less, I can’t get in the habit and it doesn’t work out.

Anyone with 3+ little little ones like to do long walks or runs? I’m eyeing the Wonderfold W4 but my husband says I need to sell off some of my stroller fleet first, lol. Oldest is too little to ride 4+ miles on a bike (she also can’t ride a bike yet) and rider boards seem too bumpy to be comfortable for that long.
