I was listening to the song today, and I thought how similar the riff was to how John was playing during the Intro to Californiacation at the Iconic Slane Castle gig.
And like many of you, I too find him a little bit weird and crazy but the It was the AI bear that made me think “WTF am I watching at 7 o clock In the morning?” 😳
And I think his keyboard solo on Your Ghost Again Is really great but him as a person I just really don’t know I think that he’s a bit of a creep.
I was just thinking about this just now and I feel like this Is a really big question on everyone’s minds on here because now they haven’t got Matt they can be as flexible with the setlist as they can,the average number of songs that they played songs on the tour was roughly around 22 songs as compared to the 30+ songs that they were doing In 2018 let’s say so I wonder If It will be different next month.

What can I say? It’s been an amazing day for Mastodon fans everywhere,new song Snakes For Dinner came out at 5am this morning for me and after one listen an hour later I can safely say that It Is a banger and I believe that we’re In safe hands with Nick.
We also have a release date for the album which I know all of you on here have been very excited about this,Marrow Deep Is going to be out next month on 29th August! 😊
This Is going to be my first album as a fan so I’m very excited to be navigating the Marrow Deep era with you all and I honestly can’t wait for It to be released and It gives me something positive to focus on as I’m going through a major change In my personal life,so for the band to release a new song and to have a new album to look forward to makes this a lot less scary than It Is,so today I feel very grateful that I found this band and I’m really happy that we got this all today! 🖤🖤🖤

Well after his bathroom post a couple weeks ago, I feel like the entire tour Is starting to go to his head a little bit a couple hours ago he posted this and then as you can see In the next picture,he’s only went and wore a David Bowie mask which leads to me to wonder “what Is that man going to do next before the tour ends In a week”
I’m absolutely 100% sure It’s going to be something weirder,I’m like absolutely certain that he’s going to end up doing something really crazy In a good way obviously and I’m really enjoying the chaos and sharing these Instagram stories with you guys 🤣🤣🤣

A bit of a sad post today, but when I watch Brent and I look at him and I see how funny he was and I just think to myself:
“Why did he have to die”?
I sometimes find It pretty weird that he was alive and In the band and he left and then a couple months later,he was gone I remember going to bed that night, I turned on YouTube and there was that video that from Rock Feed and my jaw dropped…
I wasn’t even Interested In the band at that point I became a fan In October of that year and joined the subreddit In November but I was just In shock about how quickly It happened…
I don’t know If this make any sense but It’s just so sad what we’ve all been through as a fandom this year and I’m not even sugarcoating the situation, for the longtime fans It sucks that you lost something meaningful and you lost one of your Idols and I’m sad that I didn’t become a fan of Mastodon sooner because he was an amazing and funny person who had his problems but he also had an awesome sense of humour that you see here,because to me that’s who he was ❤️
If you all didn’t know then It’s Nick’s birthday today,I can totally understand why today has been a bit flat on the ground with birthday posts for him on here today as It’s his first “ official” birthday In the band (well It’s his second we all just didn’t know whether he was going to be In the band full time and now he Is)
