Hello folks,

We live on a property supplied by two wells. The treatment is simple with a sediment and a carbon filter.

When we filled our first hot tub (4 seater, 220 gallon) and tested the water for the first time, it maxed out the test trip at PH 9 and Alkalinity 240ppm. Possibly higher but that's as high as the result sticker goes.

We have been slowly adding PH-down 1.5oz every half hour, and tested each time. We've added a total of 8oz so far, but the result barely changed (maybe visually down to exact PH 9 and 224ppm, but we may be just coping).

We've also added bromine tablets with a floater, since Google says bromine might slowly help with that too.

Any advice on how to drop the numbers down further?

We're getting our first hot tub delivered soon. It's an Aquaterra Calavera purchased via Costco.

As I'm reading through the user manual, it says:

A granulated sodium dichlor is highly
recommended for sanitizing spa water,
granular bromine may also be used. Never
use compressed sanitizers even with a
floater.

Is that normal? Does it mean I shouldn't use bromine tablets in a floater?

Hello folks,

I read that November 4 is a public holiday and the Coloseum will be free, but access to the Arena, underground and the attic will be closed to the public.

However, I'm still seeing several tour websites selling arena tours for November 4 for the same price as any other day. Does it mean tours have privileged access to the Arena and attic, even if the free "regular" public ticket can't access?

I'm asking since tours seems to have better access everywhere, like the St. Peter's Basilica entrance from the Sistine Chapel.

I'm following Elegoo Wiki How to use time-lapse photography, it says time-lapse is only available in LAN Only mode.

However, I also wish to be able to monitor and pause/resume the print when I'm away from my desk. Without connecting via wifi, this doesnt seem possible.

Does anyone have a workaround? Or is the wiki article outdated somehow and there's a proper way to do time-lapse?

I've been using my new CC2 for a week and it has worked well with PLA and PETG. However, when I tried TPU (exclusive Elegoo brand) the printer keeps pausing and erroring out "clogged tool head".

Things I've checked:

Physical:

- Spool not tangled or stuck

- filament holder not too stiff and can spin

- I even tried putting the spoon on rollers to minimize friction

- make sure no left over "poop" in the poop chute that could block the nozzle from discarding waste filament

- open door and remove hood to avoid heat creeping

Temp & slicer:

- increased nozzle temp to 240 (default elegoo slicer is 220) to increase fluidity and flow

- reduce all walls and infill speed to 30mm/s

- make sure Max volumetric Speed 3.5mm³/s to avoid pulling too fast and stretching the filament

However, the issue still remains.

What other things can I try?

My vault is 2 months old, I have 100+ dwellers with max level and stats. I have researched all diner and barrack themes. However, I cannot find the option to research/craft exterior themes. It basically does not show up for me in the theme workshop at all.

Am I missing anything?

Hello folks,

My house is located in Scotts Valley, and unfortunately our well stopped working. Our water storage tanks are low and thus we're looking for a bulk water delivery service.

The only limitation is our road being a small winding mountain road, so a couple of companies with 48-foot trucks have said they could not deliver.

If you know of a water delivery service with "smaller" trucks, please let me know. We'd really appreciate it.

I have two free weeks in November and am looking for potential destinations.

I know Southern Vietnam well but have never been to the North. Also I live in a colder climate country, so looking for somewhere warmer and perhaps swim-able beaches.

Would it be too cold to swim in the sea in places like Ha Long, Cat Ba or Do Son in November?

I'm looking at a AA/British Airways booking from Venice to San Fran, with a layover of 1h45min in LHR.

Google says it's most likely intra-terminal in Terminal 5, although there is a security line.

Would 1h45mins be enough?

It also says occasionally T3->T5 transfer. I assume this would be too tight considering the bus ride?

Hello folks,

The spouse and I are looking into purchasing a hot tub from Costco. It says "curbside delivery". My understanding is this means they'll deliver to location, but no setup / hooking up the power line or anything like that, but it's not clear how the drop off actually goes.

If you've done this. Could you please share what that means, or how it went for you?

We already have a nice & level concrete pad for the hot tub. Would the delivery crew just leave it in front of the driveway next to the road, or would they bring it to the pad?
