I’d like to add that American academia was forced to be an early adopter of what we now know as “enshittification,” thanks to a certain US President who ruined everything: Saint Ronnie of California, may he rest in piss. As governor, our boy, Ron, got his start in damaging education by reducing funding to the University of California system because college students and educated people tend to do first amendment stuff, like protesting.

I would also like to thank the voters of the 1980 and 1984 elections, many of whom are now very comfortably retired. Due to their ignorance and selfishness, they helped usher in an era of pro-business/anti-human policies. Nearly 50 years later, the subsequent generations struggle to survive, despite being extremely productive and educated. But I heard that if they would just stop eating avocado toast, everything will be fine.

Child marriage is legal in most of the United States. 86% of child marriages in the US since 2000 involved a minor female marrying an adult male. Some of these girls were only 10 years old.

Call your state representatives and demand an end to child marriage!
