psych meds blocking trip

Yesterday I took a healthy dose of tbmc. I had read about two golf balls worth is a good dose. I blended it with water and choked it down (so gross).

I had some weird vision changes 90 minutes in and felt a bit incapacitated. I thought it would keep peaking and I would experience some altered consciousness or introspection or hallucinations or something but nothing came.

I take psych meds like olanzapine, lithium, and lemictal daily. Is it likely that they blocked the effects of the mescaline?

These are the two releases from screamo band Someplace to Hide from OKC. They were mid aughts skramz band that was very special to me. They never played a ton of shows but got to catch them several times 06-08. One of their singers sadly passed away at a young age due to addiction. I think their music is amazing and some of the best drumming ever.

Hoping some of you would enjoy this for the first time.
