After my meeting, I got back on the elevator to go back down and the same operator was there.

I didn't say anything to him, but when we got to the ground floor, he said to me, "I'm sorry."

"Because you thought you were my dad?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "No, son, because I let you down."

People, and self identifying animals of Austin HEAR MY CALL!! The town lake trail is becoming FAR too dangerous. My polycule and I frequently will get out for a morning pedal on our 5 person tandem bike and every time we do I witness the most DANGEROUS types of behavior!!

I’ve seen people on ELECTRIC vehicles!!

I’ve seen them go LITERALLY TENS of miles per hour!! I’ve seen them go WITHIN 20 feet of other people using the trail (for CIVILIZED activities such as walking).

This needs to be stopped, I sent a harshly worded email to city council requesting…

- a 5 mph speed limit enforced by at least 50% of APDs active officers

-no electronic vehicle use permitted by anyone under the age of 35

- a special license for anyone (over 35) looking to ride one of these ELECTRONIC DEATH MACHINES

- even possibly an outright ban on every motorized bicycle, Segway, and one wheel.

Only then can we finally be safe from the GREAT PERIL of this electronic OPPRESSION!!!

Give me SAFETY or give me DEATH!!
