there's this one Target that I haven't seen add any Mario or Sonic wave since the first 35th anniversary one, but they still get the pokemon stuff and the new sonic playsets just fine.

Not to mention one of the two Macy's has a much smaller Toys R Us section that has never stocked the main figures at all

like everything I've seen over the past few years, but especially with Deme and Ironmouse, just makes this entire profession seem like a nightmare where you will be unthanked, unloved, harassed, and insulted for the rest of your life for daring to be more than just a pretty face. Unless you're a Japanese woman, which unsurprisingly the weeb audience is way nicer to, or you cater to the loli audience, otherwise you basically are just gonna get the fucking gamergate treatment if you step out of line even once
