I make the occasional Instagram reel about Toronto politics.

And was surprised to see Local Creep Jesse Watson in the comments. I used to live in Alberta, so I was familiar with him and pretty annoyed he was in my comments.

He would then go on to prawl through my videos and left like a dozen crazy comments. These were the only ones I could screencap before he blocked me.

Sooo many movies lately with the worst looking cartoon aliens! They looks awful! It breaks my immersion immediately.

Seriously, the grey has wrinkly skin like a hairless dog, have none of the animators seen a non-human biologic IRL before???

Also they are standing in a yard, you are telling me you couldn’t bring in some extraterrestrials from a government bunker to stand there while you grab some shots?

We have the tech to do near unlimited shots that look realistic but having non-human intelligence that don’t look like blurry cartoons is just a bridge too far?

I get it’s complicated to have supreme intelligences on set but we can’t figure out a way to cut and paste real other worldly beings with actors?

I refuse to believe this is an unsolvable problem. After all, the aliens figured out how to travel through the fourth dimension.

I hate it, it never looks good, it takes me out of the movie so fast.
