Does Piloting count as experience?

So I'm still a year 1 IT who thinks of not only making my 1st project, which is a free healthcare focused SaaS, but deploying it in a local clinic whilst following a trad SDLC plan. How should I present such a process on my CV later on?

Best Huawei Accademy ICT courses for IT?

My Uni struck a deal with Huawei Academy for providing us with access to its courses. Their networks and cloud courses seem promising for my desired HIT specialization, but what do you think?

What would a more logical(Tony & F4 being anti) Civil War look like?

IMO, If Civil War was re-adapted/rebooted in a movie or series, they should make cap and ironman on the same, ant reg will be SHIELD, Carol, a prog similar to the Thunderbolts, and most importantly, alot of outsider, non US support. Teams like Big Hero 6, The Red Guard, and Agents of Atlas would be more fitting with the relations being more military and political alliances than the domestic politics present in the og CW. And in the og comic, something similar to what I'm proposing happened in one of the X-men tie ins, with Sabra being pro reg for domestic application of such laws in Israel, so it wouldn't be far fetched or too out of char for other international teams to have such stances. But what do you think of this prolly dogshit idea I gave.

Sys investigation and analysis at clinics

So Im a yr 1 CIS w HIT focus from the curriculum, I'm planning on deploying a healthcare SaaS for staff location and simple, static sms messaging during summer break. After finishing up on some BE topics, I'm thinking of piloting it at a nearby clinic, and using a plan based approach in deployment. What are somethings I should be aware of in investigation and analysis of the workflow?

Would this be enough?

So I was thinking of proposing a solution for our universities major student org, which is Islamic and dawah focused, to free mixing. Now as you all know, undoing such a problem can be taxing logistically, so instead of new rooms and equally competent staff for both sexes, we can use cheap, plastic curtains as a solution, hence lowering gaze becomes less taxing and only necessary outside, knowing that with us, both sexes tend to sit in different sides almost separate. I thought I should share the idea here before trying to propose it to see its Sharia feasibility.

Is reg helpdesk bigger priority at yr1?

So I'm still a yr 1 CIS nearing 2nd year. I'm planning on pivoting to HIT and now have 2 options for an early training, one is a HR Mang Sys, while the other is an HIT training/internship programme. Which one should be the higher priority, knowing that I still didnt take any HIT material in uni yet?

Enhancing a schools environment

For a CS, IT school, the most important thing is the environment fostered in them, primarily by student orgs and the school itself.

I'll give an example of that from my experience as a still year 1 CIS. Our school decided to get a local SW company that improved its SW to give out an intro to FS dev, this eventually lead to giving out online courses for topics like FE, BE, mobile, ect, and later on, a training at their company. Student orgs also follow the same idea, many use the school facilities and nearby establishments to give out classes on various topics like moblie dev, ai engineering, and some handholding for problem solving. Via such an environment, I'll hopefully be able to deploy my 1st project after the summer semester and maybe snag a training opportunity hopefully.

For anyone still yr1 or 2, try and encourage such advancements in the environment via your clubs, orgs, or even the school if tgey are co operative.

A post for 2008 students applying to UJ

This is a comprehensive awareness post about the first thing that you will do in UJ and the massive repercussions that will happen if handled poorly. Ofc, to anyone wanting to enroll in UJ, the 1st thing you will do when stepping in it are the Placement/Mustawa tests, they are in 3 subjects: Arabic, English, and Computer 99, I'll talk about how you can succeed in these exams optimally as someone who aced them, but 1st genneral rules before specifics.

  1. Facebook is your friend: Student orgs on Facebook like AlNashama or Ahl Al Hemma will provide the backbone for you in these exams with (partially) sufficient material for these exams, and, as I'll later on discuss, leaks.
  2. Study for them: Don't listen to anyone who says "dont study, let them test ur knowledge", as you've got a potential 18 hrs of materials that can be installed to your plan and make your academic life hell if not handled professionally and aced fully.

Now, lets get to specifics:-

Computer 99: The easiest of the bunch, I'd recommend you study the material posted on the FB groups as they closely resemble the exam material, only part I'd say be wary of is the practical Word/Powerpoint/Excel sections of it, study them well and you would be reliefed of 3hrs

Arabic: Personally my toughest exam, they expect you to be al mutanabee with such questions and have a very high skill ceiling. Look at the summeries and test banks to gain a general idea of the exam and study the qawaed. After that wait on the FB groups to eventually leak some questions and come to the exam aceing aprox 66% of the questions, the 33% come from you sadly. With passing it fully, you will relief yourself of 6hrs(C and C1), tho a mid score can relief you of 3hrs(C) with another 3 you need to take(C1).

English: Widely regarded as the hardest exam and most punishing one if mishandled. Unlike the 2 prev, which are tailor made, the English exam is straight from the Cambridge website. It is 2 parts, one is listening and the other is reading comprehension. Even a skilled priv school student w great E background can struggle in it. My advice is to study from the British Council website for the listening and Reading specificly B2.2 and C1 abd above, and read the grammar from the FB summeries. Here it is feast or famine, you either get 50/50 or 49.5/50 and pass and only have 3hrs for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or get below 49.5 and add 9 hrs spread on a full year.

Hope this post may help any aspiring students of UJ from 2008 and above, study well. :D

Thoughts on a Widowmaker approach?

Ok, I'm no BW main(Im mag) but I feel your frustration with the reworks. I think an approach similar to OW's widow will be the best of both worlds with it replacing the batons. This could either be a full copy paste of widow with a sniper mode replacing the batons, or replace the new rifle with the old one and have a closer range weapon (dual smgs or widows bite) to compensate. I may have butchered Widow like that but what are your thoughts?
