thought i’d drop these swatches, as i just did in the new Fair Neutral reddit group. The first 6 are LE, last 2 are Dries van Noten.

i am a Soft Autumn, with fair to light, muted, neutral warm leaning skin tone. the first 5 lipstick shades are the ones i love best, the last 3 being either too dark or too cool. Society is admittedly a bit bright and likely a Spring shade, but i love it anyway.

woke up mad at me for something 😠

this duck tote was my foray into baggu, about 4 years ago. i was working in a thrift store, and someone had donated this very beat up bag. it was not to the standard for resale. so i took it home and cleaned it, but it was still quite sun-faded.

around that time, a friend of mine told me about a quilting store she used to work at. sadly, they closed down — 2020 being a rough year for small businesses — but she had some old stock. i asked if there was anything having to do with sashiko. i am half-Japanese, and wanted various ways to explore my culture. so she brought me a sashiko kit with the fabric, thread & stencil.

and this “patch” fit perfectly on one side of the duck tote! and cost me all of $0! 😃

my partner got this Snuffleupagus plush for our 8 year anniversary 😃 Aloysius is my favourite Muppet.

i do feel that Bronze Linen is the best bronzer (or, blonzer) shade for my fair-light neutral, warm leaning skin tone. it’s quite close in tone to the blush, but a tad more pigmented and the slightest more red. Olive Bronze Drift is a bit too green for me, as i’m not olive. but i wanted it as an eyeshadow, and it’s perfect for no makeup makeup days. Bronze Speakeasy is a darker blonzer or blush tone on me, and very beautiful.

so i realize i went overboard on buying bronzers, but i don’t regret it! this formula is cream to powder and really wears nicely on the skin.

this Merit reward was added July 1st, but as soon as i saw it, it was already out of stock! the heck. does anyone know how this happens?

headed to the groomer tomorrow, and she always shaves off. 😐

I recently got this sweet plushie after wanting it for some time. It seems to be made of that really soft polyester fur. However, the seams at the front legs are causing the fur to lay weird. Any ideas why this is and if I can fix it?

i recently reached out to LE customer service looking for a red closest to Cinnabar but from the refillable line. i don’t own Cinnabar Velvet, but am so drawn to that shade! i am hesitant to purchase because of all the breaking stories, and i do prefer to buy refillable when i can. so perhaps i shall pick up Lili… 🤔

i did again ask about the new Velvet 2.0 formula coming to the refills, and it was again confirmed! much to look forward to 😃

i really haven’t been tempted by much from baggu lately. this latest SL drop did intrigue me, but i believe i own more than enough. and i thought i should leave things for those who are in love with this drop. 🩵🩷
