We did not try to melt the cheese, so I can not answer that question, but it is Miyoko's recipe, and she is the Queen of vegan cheeses. Everyone was happy with the flavor, texture, and mouthfeel of it; again, Miyoko is The Queen.

Annie's Organic Flakey biscuits, Light life hot dogs. The eyes are peppercorns and the nostrils are cloves, which are meant to be removed before eating. Or not. 🥳

I added a touch of guajillo peppers just to give them depth of flavor without being spicy. They are a trial run for a birthday cake for a friend from Argentina who requested a vegan Chocotorta 🇦🇷🎂

This was very delicious, I hope I can recreate it again 😬 one of the perils of not using exact recipes when cooking. Life goes on 🤗

Eating the trimmed tops after leveling the layers of the carrot cake before icing it for my client, is the best part of baking. The extra caramelized tops are so delicious 😋
