We did not try to melt the cheese, so I can not answer that question, but it is Miyoko's recipe, and she is the Queen of vegan cheeses. Everyone was happy with the flavor, texture, and mouthfeel of it; again, Miyoko is The Queen.

In Mexico, the most popular is Tres Leches Cake, but I cannot stand that soggy mess, and we call it pastel. My favorite cake is the Hungarian Dobos Torte with the caramel fan standing up instead of lying flat on top.
