Fiance ended our 12 year relationship and left with the cat

He didn’t tell me he was taking the cat. I can’t eat bc I’m so heartbroken but I’m trying to manage with protein bars, peaches, and Gatorade

ETA: any support, words of encouragement, or advice on how to feel better would be appreciated. My other cat passed last month so it’s been blow after blow after blow

ETA2: the cat he took was our cat but had bonded strongly to him

ETA3: we broke up because he said he’s unhappy. He cancelled our July wedding so it wasn’t out of nowhere but we had been in counseling and I was thinking things were improving so in that sense it was sudden

So many things remind me of him. Everything I love or did is tied to him. I’m holed up in the guest room bc that’s the one place in the house he and I didn’t spend time. He’s living elsewhere right now so I technically have the whole house but I can’t bear to be out there

Wrong size item

Hi! I bought an umbrella stand that is not heavy enough for a standard backyard umbrella but did not know until I assembled it last night and woke up to it fallen over. No wind caused it

I’d like to return it and get the larger size but I see that to return, the item needs to be unopened. Thoughts?

Mulberry trees: do they work as bushes or compact?

I’m reading online that constricting the growth of a mulberry plant leads to smaller and less exciting fruit.

I was hoping to get a bush or a weeping variety that I can control better horizontally/keep more compact but I care more about the fruit than the size of the plant… I can always find another spot to put it!

I apologize, I am really ignorant about this topic.

The article makes it seem like England took Argentinian land in the 1770s and they’ve tried to reclaim it… I’m not really sure why this is controversial. Please don’t get upset at my ignorance! I really want to understand the background

Thank you for the help with Suki’s passing

I posted about her over the weekend and everyone here was so helpful. I wanted to share some things that I am doing in her honor that help me feel better as well.

​I will be planting the tree in the last photo in the front yard in her honor. It’s about 5 feet right now and grows up to 25 feet.

I’m going to put a bench under it with the inscription:
Go gently into the stars
I will sing your memory among the leaves

People in my neighborhood loved her so it’s going to be a place for people to sit while on their walks

Suki was such a love bug and loved to snuggle. She was only 7 years old and was hit by a car a few days ago and didn’t make it. I’m just gutted.

Whiskers

My wobbly boys loses whiskers WAY more frequently than any cat I’ve had. I always assumed it’s because he’s bumping into things :(
