I genuinely don’t know what to do

Ive been trading for almost a year now. I trade Gold and was in a very good spot a month or two ago. The war started and ever since then, Ive been losing trades left and right.

It’s so frustrating and I feel like I’ve just lost all of my progress. I was even one day from a payout before!

Am I just making excuses by saying the markets are killing me because of the war or is there some truth to that? Regardless, Im not sure what to do. Even when I execute my strategy or have a great setup, something crazy happens out of no where. Tonight I just lost a trade and revenge traded/blew my account out of anger. I haven’t done that in months. Loss after loss, it’s so incredibly demoralizing, especially when I’m in such an irritating spot at work yk? I’ve tried to back test some more. I do pretty well on there, but total trash on the live markets. Im sure some areas of discipline are weaker than usual so Thats a self realized start line , but it feels like the markets are moving crazy lately.

Damnit I’m so frustrated.

Do I back test some more? I’ve already taken one, but do I take a break? Any advice would be amazing. Thanks

I want to start my first plan + upgrade my phone. Any opinions?

Right now I have a IPhone Xr(2018). It’s really breaking down on me. Im 22 and have a part time job. At the moment, Im on my Dads plan, but he has financial issues and I would like to just start my own so he can save some money, plus I can upgrade my phone myself.

The issue is that I don’t want to break the bank, but I have two concerns/needs.

- Unlimited data (Im out a lot)

- a good/decent camera. (Very nature filled vacation in August, I want to take some pictures!)

I understand this is one of those things that isn’t cheap, but I wanted to get some advice on some options I can explore. Any thoughts on providers, phones, deals, etc?

Advice for anyone with a IPhone 16e

Sorry if this isn’t the right sub lol.

Im looking to switch from my iPhone Xr(2018) to the iPhone 16e(2025). It’s a deal that give me the phone for “free” if I start a plan.

I have a vacation in August and it’s lots of nature. With that being said I’d love a good quality camera without breaking my bank. Does anyone have one and if so, is it worth it?

Edit: this was reposted from a different sub. Im at work and didnt have time to change it. Still though, any advice would be fantastic! Thanks

Should I switch?

Im looking into the unlimited plan with the deal to get the IPhone 16e on them. Would I only need to pay to activate plus the service fee?

Right now I have an IPhone xr. The biggest thing for me is camera quality without breaking the bank.

I have a nature trip in August and I would love some suggestions before I switch!

Thanks

Whats the best way to train for a few months in Thailand?

Just like the title says. Im young and enjoy the arts. Training in Thailand is something I’ve heard about for years and have always had an interest in.

I dislike being where I’m at right now and I feel the need to get the hell away and grind for a bit.

Gyms? Advice? Thoughts?

Just started yesterday but genuinely love MMA already. Advice on form?

Just like the title says.

Yesterday I took my first mma class. Learned some basic kicks, sparred a bit, and grappled. I haven’t had that/this much fun in so long it’s not even funny.

I want to grow and get better! Im no ufc fighter but I would love to hear some beginner advice about my form in the video. Theres a lot I have concerns about but I’m one day in so I understand everything could be better lol

I have work tonight but I will see any and all replies even if I don’t respond! Thank you

Edit: if this is a goofy post lmk I’ll take it down 😂

Need good starter gear for mma

I just took my first MMA class and absolutely loved it. I need some solid gear without breaking the bank.

Mainly a pair of shin guards, but I’m also looking for any extra recommendations! Mouth guard, home equipment(?), etc.

Ideally anything under 80-100 dollars would be great, but I have a small background in boxing and understand things get pricey

Thank you

How can I upgrade my discharge code?

I had some hard mental health moments very early in my service ( Air Force, active) and was ELS’d with a 2C RE code.

Long story short Im really yearning for some redemption. I’ve tried countless recruiters and one finally told me about a way I can upgrade my code and hopefully lower its severity.

I saw that there is a helpful link on the VA website, but does anyone have any advice on improving my odds of it being upgraded?

Need help getting re recruited into college volleyball

Im 22M with around two years left in my NCAA eligibility. When I stopped playing I was without a doubt just hitting my peak in volleyball (bad coaching..)

It’s been a few years since then and I’m looking to go back to college for my degree plus the goal of playing again! Im actually more in shape now than I was then.

Right now ( at 6ft ) I can touch around 11-11.5ft and I have a 60 inch box jump w approach. I know that doesn’t necessarily matter, but I haven’t tested my actual vertical recently so Thats all I have at the moment.

How can I start getting some film without being on a team? I know I can try to get some film at open gyms, but they aren’t exactly— competition level. I’m confident Im still a great player and I’d love to prove it.

I was a pin mainly right side

Thanks!

Combat roles in the reserves?

I understand the Navy isn’t necessarily the way to go for combat route. Of course going active there are a few routes, solid and respectable ass routes at that, but is there any options high speed wise in the reserves? Ive looked into the Marines and the Army which I know both offer Infantry, but I want to explore each route.

I have lots of reasons to enlist and just as many to shoot for part time so I figured I may as well ask.

Any info would be great, thanks

Need thoughts on my date idea

Im 22m just got this girls instagram the other day and was considering asking her out. Ive been out of the game for few years now so I’m not great at this stuff anymore, but I want something fun and interactive enough so it won’t be awkward if things get awkward

Asking anyone, but woman’s opinions would be great. Would taking her Axe throwing and then to ice cream be a solid first date?

Training for first summit- Mt Adams

Im 22 and I booked a trip to Portland this August. I want to solo summit Mt Adams. This would be my first summit and real climb to be honest.

I know some may say it’s not smart, but I’ve heard it’s not very technical especially in August and quite frankly I really want the challenge.

I plan to spend the night on the mountain so I can turn 23 on it, then summit the following morning.

Im very fit/active and am training hard, but I recognize nothing preps for the climb besides climbing. Im in Illinois so that’s hard to do.

I have heard stories of people summiting it solo with no/little prior experience. They say with the right physical and mental prep you can push through it ( not to forget taking it at a safe pace for a beginner ).

With all this being said, I have a some questions:

  1. What equipment/supplies should I buy or rent for this summit? Any suggestions for renting spots or brands would be great.
  2. With it being solo, I would really like some pictures at the summit if all goes well. Would it be bad/realistic if I took a lightweight tripod for my phone?
  3. Whats the best way for me to keep my bearing? A physical gps? Map? Phone?

Besides that i would love to hear any thoughts/advice on this! I really appreciate all of you ahead of time, thank you

Mt Adams first ever climb/summit advice

Im 22 and will be turning 23 in august. On my birthday I want to summit Mt Adams solo for my first. I’ve never done any mountaineering but I’ve heard the main route is more like a hike so you don’t necessarily need the technical skills.

Im from Illinois so there isn’t much elevation here, but I’m very fit and plan on training outdoors and on the stair master until the trip.

With this being said I have some questions:

  1. What should I bring for this summit?

  2. I have the idea of turning 23 while on the mountain, would I be able to start the night prior and be on my acsent through midnight/ early morning?

  3. Is august a good time to summit? I don’t know anything about weather conditions or avalanche conditions

  4. Do I need to worry about bears?? lol

Thanks you for any and all advice! I work overnights so I won’t be able to respond much, but I will see them all!

Planning to tackle Rainer ( first summit)

22m, very physically fit. Im planning a birthday getaway and have always wanted to climb a mountain. Ive been looking into Rainer and have been looking for a good guide to look to. Some are so expensive! Is this the best way to go about it?

Also, is there any spots I can rent the equipment I’d need for the summit?

What is something challenging/interesting I can do for my birthday?

Im 22 and will be turning 23 this august. Im taking a week off to travel and/or prepare for something challenging.

I want to climb/hike a mountain/trail, sky dive, I want to visit somewhere really cool or interesting, maybe run a marathon or something. Originally, I wanted to visit another country; Im still not opposed, but something affordable would be nice.

Any ideas?

Saiki K might be the best comedy oat

Just an opinion Ive been trying to solidify. I’ve found myself consistently rewatching it and each time laughing at the same thing Ive already seen before.

Thoughts on this?

Suggestions for first trip to Japan

Im going to Japan for 7 days in august. I want to explore everything it offers! Nature, history, night life and any or all unique experiences!

Also about booking the trip. I was to reserve my spot early because it’s much cheaper now, but I don’t have the couple grand it costs right now, I will before the trip.

Im using Expedia. Is this something I should open some sort of credit card to pay back or would they allow me to pay it back over time?

Please give me any and all advice, suggestions or opinions that could help me out!

Thanks
