Jagex, you did it again

Wow. I’m genuinely impressed and very excited for not only for what’s to come for DW, but RS as a whole. After today’s RuneFest - I feel like Jagex is about to take another quarter of my life, but this time in my adult years 😂😂😂

Happy Friday, what’s everyone playing this weekend?

Anxiously awaiting for the release of Hellraiser: Revival to kickoff my Halloween binge but have been enjoying RuneScape: DragonWilds and The Witcher 3: Remastered in the mean time.

Guys, I am SO excited for this.

The demo looks amazing, all the trailers seem to have really pinned (haha) the vibe that the 90s movies had. Inventory management system looks similar to RE, which I like, idk man - I am just so stoked to play this plus at a $40 price tag? Gimme.

Favorite Boss in recent memory

Can be all-time too!

I’m gonna go with Dragonlord Placiduusax AKA Big Daddy Sax!

Has to be one of the most humbling yet badass boss fight for me in ages. The arena, music, phases, and even the route to get to him (iykyk) make this fight one hell of a Banger. Shoutout to The OG Elden Lord!

Who remembers this early 2000s flash gem?

Would go on to have 2 sequels, man this used to jump my bones as a kid? Who played it?

Cori’s Dog House, Mt. Juliet TN

Hello all, 1st time poster here.

From left to right -

Pittsburgh (Coleslaw, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Provolone) 7.5/10

Kansas City (Sauerkraut, Swiss) 10/10

Chicago (Relish, Dill Spear, Sports Peppers, Tomatoes, Onions, Mustard, Celery Salt) 6/10

The KC dog by far won me over the most, all 3 were delicious but I was surprised that the one with least amount of ingredients would be my favorite. Also, was my first time trying sauerkraut on a dog and maaaaaaan was it good. Truth be told, I’m not even a big fan of the stuff. The Pittsburgh, I really wanted to try because I’m a huge fan of Primanti Bro’s, so to taste that dynamic on a dog was a huge selling point for me. I was expecting more of a vinegar based slaw, but this was still pretty tasty. The Chicago Dog is something that has always been on my radar, and I was really looking to pop my cherry on that one. Idk, tbh I thought the flavors were a little much - as if there was just too much going on but I could also see how this would appeal to others because the particular mix of the sport peppers and relish was good.

Service was excellent, the guys working were super helpful in assisting me through the menu. If you’re ever in the area, this is a must for any glizzy connoisseur.

Having the hardest time trying to move up.

Title says it all.

I really don’t know what else to do, to try and get my “foot in the door” with RME.

5 year tenured T1, have remained in good standing the entirety of my tenure, graduate from Ancora’s Mechatronics and Robotics program, OSHA 10 certified, have a mechanical background from working in the automotive industry, as well as oil and gas production as an environmental field laborer.

I’ve personally went out of my way to express interest to not only my site RME lead, but surrounding sites as well via slack, spoken to both recruiters and hiring managers to “show interest” but only left with “no longer under consideration”.

At this point I’m considering just an all-together career change and applying to the local IBEW because idk what else I can do to better showcase myself to the recruiting teams.

What gives? I know the shift to AI is effecting a lot of hiring processes within the company but damn.

Edit: just want to thank everyone for the help and support

Pulled my first iconics today

Knew going in spending a little would yield better pulls but curiosity always strikes me so, had a couple bucks and didn’t feel like purchasing any of the boof high process foods available at work and opted for some pixels I will never own 😂😂

Y’all terrible at packing your own lunch too? I pack it and forget that shit in the fridge 7/10 times lol.

All in all, this has been a fun app to use and I think it’s a cool extension of the hobby as well as the fantasy-lite mechanics. Best of luck to everyone on their pulls!

100% new to the digital collecting scene, break this down for me

This subreddit popped up on my feed and I’ve since downloaded the app and linked my fanatics account.

Ripped a couple different Topps Chrome packs, and while I think the concept is cool so far - feels like a lot to take in. Honestly it’s probably just me but educate ya boy?

I collect physically!

How does one go about exploring therapy options via Amazon

Won’t get too much into the details, but just feeling pretty burnt out and maybe depressed - I’ve never really been in this type of a spot emotionally before but I do think its time to seek someone professional to at least speak to so I’m trying to see what options we have through the company. Any help is appreciated, please no negativity. Thanks

Losing a best friend sucks

It’s been 4 years now and not a single part of it feels better. In 2022, I lost my best friend to a Fentanyl overdose. I had a group of friends in my hometown that I grew up with, majority of that group was always drinking, partying, but there was one dude who I connected with on levels other than just boozing. He was the Han-Solo to my Chewy. We developed a bond that felt iron-clad.

One day, in the depths of my battle with alcoholism, dealing with lack of motivation, employment, the works - he just told me that I needed to pack my shit and move out of “this black hole” because it was inevitably going to swallow me hole as it did so many of our peers prior to.

I took the advice, completely transplanted myself to an area that was 100% new to me. This would eventually lead to me meeting my wife, who is the light of my life. This would also lead to me taking on the battle of alcohol at face value, and defeating that demon. I’m very grateful for the path bro put me on but it sucks knowing that the one “true” friend I’ve ever had is no longer here.. and I guess it’s just really effecting me moreso today than others.

Idk fellas, call up your day ones and just thank them.

What were some crazy stories during the COVID era?

I remember people just sneezing and taking a MLOA, triple-overtime, 6 foot apart at security scanning (made the line exponentially longer), etc.

What were some things you experienced during COVID?
