My snake is NOT stuck. But I just used it and was scared as hell a few times that it felt stuck. Binding up and I can't pull it. Can't push it. I spin the rotor crank. It's getting tighter. Will the cable snap? Can I just leave the busted cable in the drain forever? Mind spiraling. etc.

Horror scenes in my head of plumber having to come and break all the tiles, walls, etc to remove all the pipes, etc. Has anyone ever had a snake get totally snagged and what did you do?

My best drives at 200-220y. PW is 80-100y. I hit a 4H about 150, no higher than 6 feet off the ground. Can't loft a mid iron to save my life. Today, I hit 150y line drives on all my 4H. Topped my 5W. Low drivers. Par 3's, thin low line drives that roll to edge of green. But, no lost balls. Mostly straight.

Today, I played a guy who hits huge BOMBS. He drove the green on a short par 4. But he was blasting push right OB. Would lose 2 balls off the tee. He would hit a towering bomb SW for 135y par-3 into the woods.

Front side. I shot high 40s. He shot high 50s. It's wild how underrated hitting like a 90 year old is. This guy was playing a different sport than I, yet I beat him. I SUCK at golf (25 hcp) and just beat a guy who hits 300 yard drives and 150 yard SW, towering bombs like a PGA player.

Last year, I did WinterGuard 32-0-1fertilizer on 9/1. Rake/Overseed on 9/14. Water for a week, and Great results and full green lawn by 10/1.

This year, I have not yet done Fall fertilizer. I did some crab pull & seed last week, but did not yet general overseed yet . I have a few brown patches, but am not sure if it's dormant or dead. What should I do this time? Rake brown grass and seed? Fertilizer before or after?

Has YouTube has made the average person way more handy than past generations? Major jobs still require a crew/equipment, but small stuff is now accessible to the layman.

Fix sink leak, change outlet, light switch. Change doorknob. Change weatherstrip. Fix fridge defrost. Clean AC. Change capacitor. Fertilize lawn. Gardening. Painting. Service windows. Snake drain. Fix toilet flapper. Service lawn mower or snow blower.

Car repair also. Basic stuff More popular DIY than ever before. YouTube.? Forums? AI?

Got motivated. I spent an hour pulling some crab grass. All near curb. Did not get 100%, but figure some effort will defend from crab take over.

Pulled crab.
Mowed
Spread grass seed.
Covered with some dirt.

And now will need to water 3x a day.

Grass is way better than last year.
I was looking for areas to patch overseed but there weren't many.

Anyone who owns a house should have a $25k to $50k cash repair fund. Otherwise, it will be a stressful nightmare. Renting is underrated in this regard.

It costs $300 just to have a service guy show up at the door. Any basic 2-3 hour repair call is going to be $1000 each time, with parts and labor.

There can be big repairs. Better to be prepared. $20k roof, $15k driveway, $20k windows, $15k house paint or $30k siding, $20k HVAC, $6k-$15k fence replace, $6k trees removal, $20k sewer line, $10k electrical panel, $30k-$50k basement/crawlspace flood remediation, $25k-$50k retaining wall, $50k foundation repair, $10k mold , $25k electrical upgrade, $10k termites, $50k asbestos, ongoing landscaping, utilities, taxes, etc. None of the above even covers renovations for modern looks.

A house can eat up a lot of money. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst!

Do you grip the shaft at the very end? Sometimes I see people with half inch or one inch choke down, and not for like a special circumstance like rough or uneven lie. Like a slight choke even for a perfect lie. What's the story there?

Everyone says cheap split will need to be replaced quickly. Why? My $200 5000BTU window unit AC lasted 25 years (and counting)

2 holes blew my round. 7i out of rough was a disaster. Sideways, roller, into hazard. Hitting from rough is Fck City. Ended up +4 for the hole. Par 3 4H tee shot went fat, sideways, 50 yards, and OB. +3 for that hole. On the plus side, I hit a pure 6i (144), 7i (120), 3W (175) today. Club speed is 70mph, for 9i/7W.

Takes focus to not let rando pairing clowns get you annoyed. Slow play, not tracking their balls, 3 practice swings, looking up yardage on phone when over 250y out (and can't hit 150), Getting mad at every bad shot (despite having an ugly 1/4 swing), etc. You end up focusing on their antics more than your own game.

HF 1750 psi model.

Was a hassle to set up.

Dragging the hose around to the front of the house. Just barely long enough.

Dragging awkward nozzle gun and electrical cord getting caught in bushes.

Was a PITA to connect the hose to the washer.

Had to use dual wrenches, etc. was annoying as heck to detach hose also.

Wasn't that effective unless I set the spray to a micro focus jet.

It was like filling in an MS paint area with fine tip pen.

Annoying as heck.

The whole thing seemed idiotic and inefficient.

Felt like I was better off just wiping down the stuff with big wet rag first.

Couldn't even detach nozzle gun extension after I was done so washer has 6 foot gun hanging out.

Then bracket for cable wrap seemed backwards, like where the heck do you coil the cord around?

I ended up reversing the clamp.

There has got to be a better way to do this.
