Vitamin D might help your seasonal allergies
I’ve overcome my vitamin d deficiency by taking 2500iu daily. It has removed most of my seasonal allergies symptoms. You might want to consider it too.
Vitamin D is an immune modulator that prevents your body from overreacting to seasonal triggers. It helps by suppressing pro-inflammatory chemicals and regulating T-cell activity.
However, many people are deficient. 1 in 5 (20%) of Canadians have inadequate levels. This is because, unlike food vitamins, we mainly get vitamin d from the suns UVB rays. And the sun provides much less away from the equator.
This might be why allergies are much more common in developed northern first world countries. And much less common in African and south Asian countries.
If you’ve tried everything and allergies are still driving you insane, might as well spend $25 on a vitamin d test and then $25 a year on supplement pills.
